"We already have a cosmetic like this" they added like 5 beanies in a row and no one complained about it

We already have a cosmetic like this, the snow sleeves. Looks nice but I'll pass.

Honestly Demo has been long overdue for another Winter apparel for some time. I believe the last item of the sort was the Snow Sleeves or Sub Zero Suit when it was updated for him. However, I do prefer this over those two, since this one has a simple yet effective style that I think the previously mentioned don't have the benefit of.

Thanks! That's what I was going for. Just something solid, to cover a niche that was, so far, unrealized.

i dont really think its following any trend. its a big turtle neck and sleeves for demo. Better to have more shirts and coats, than really bad festive garbage. it looks good. its a solid cosmetic

Do you have any requests for new trends? I'm open for some ideas.

Okay but that's not really a viable excuse to tell workshoppers to stop making cosmetics paintable; yes, there are a handful of offensive paint options in the game, but a majority of people who use paints almost always choose to be sensible with their colour choices.

There are definitely outliers that pick lime green because they want to stand out and that's their decision to do so, much like it's everyone's decision to decide whether or not they want to paint their cosmetics a certain colour.

People have their personal tastes and that's totally fine; making cosmetics less applicable in loadouts by not being paintable, just because people don't like the more zanier paint options being used by some people, doesn't really sound like a solid argument.

@Extra Ram, Because there are plenty of obnoxious paints in the game

This looks very comfortable :)

I really don't understand the discourse behind item paintability at all; it allows players a much wider range of customisation with their loadouts and also gives a lot of items a great deal of range of options when it's got sensible paintable regions. Why's an item allowing for more options in terms of its colour palette now such a big deal to a good amount of you critics, especially when this has been a feature in TF2 for almost a decade now?

True, true. I respect the honesty.

Indeed, if it were my choice I'd remove every paint from the game that wasn't team-colored or brown. But the paintability is going to be a big selling point for the item.

I like it. It works as a demo christmas cosmetic. Doesn't really need to be paintable though.
