It's an excellent mod but it duplicates many of the hivers' buildings, leaving most establishments inaccessible.:beeped:

I can't find this mod in the mod folder... in fact, the only mods in the mod folder are the ones I downloaded from Nexus...

Special Steps to Fix the duplicate building bug at Admag.

1) Open the this mod Folder
2) Go to the leveldata folder
3) Delete these 3 files:
* zone.12.34.zone
* zone.12.35.zone
* zone.13.35.zone

[REPORT] This mod duplicate Some Town Structures as Admag, avoid use with overhauls mods or similar.

In my case, maybe this produce some Crashes cause Kenshi have troubles using GPU VRAM [if you have distant meshes problems search CTD fix] ^^ i like this mod but i need to remove for now.

I'd have to agree, I appreciate the effort to keep all the original style of the villages unmodified, but the new buildings not having any occupants makes it feel very strange I can just buy up all the new available housing ina hive

villages feel too empty, I really like the idea of the mod and once you get in a village it is lovely at a first glance but it really needs an update, it is also difficult to distinguish which building does what now and clearer signs are really needed, for now I will unsuscribe and wait for an updated version

Do you know how compatible this is with Universal Wasteland Expansion? My understanding of FCS is spotty, as I'm just starting to learn, but my main concern there is that Dreg was split off to form the Midland Hive, and the Distant Hive Villages in Sinkuun are now the Northern Hive.

One of my few complaints about UWE is that the hive villages still have no walls, :beeped:

This is very nice. Looking forward to seeing the building interiors furnished. I'd recommend keeping additional NPCs to a minimum. These locations look more like cities than villages now already.

Neat mod! I was about to start a playthrough where I have a non-hiver "join" the Western Hive, as much as they can, anyway. I already saw the hiver building mods, but having the hives themselves beefed up would be great.

Do you know any other good like.. friendly/joining the hive mods? There's tons for *playing* as the hive, but not many for interacting with the hives that already exist.

I've been meaning to comment. This mod is pretty amazing. Bravo... the only drawback is that less Beak Things can see inside the villages, which really slow down the skin/mean kiting/farming. Love it otherwise.

This should be good with KAM? if i recall correctly KAM does not touch the Hive settlements only all of the major cities and towns. Either way awesome mod man we need more stuff like this.

An import managed to fix the issues I was having listing the Hive Villages as DEAD. Still, maybe I've just had bad luck with Hive Traders not showing up!

I don't think so because for the Sinkuun settlements I didn't move/edit any pre-existing buildings, I just added new things,I didn't touch the roads or anything else either. It should be fully compatible with reactive world, I think that if I add new npcs I will need to create a patch.

My latest playthrough has been a settlement in Sinkuun, so my hive pals have been pretty good to me, and it's cool to see you've just recently updated their villages... That said, since the change, I haven't had any hive traders visit me for a good long while-- could be some poor interaction with reactive world, not sure.

once this is complete you should make a compatibility patch with reactive world, increasing the sizes of cities is likely to break something

@Canis Majoris I can't reproduce the crash on my game even with a load order of 300 mods, could you tell me which mod are you using ? It might be an incompatibility, I will try to fix it if I can.

I think the drones are supposed to show up through a tunnel or something - either way bridges would not makes sense, since people are supposed to have never actually seen the queen before, and a bridge would make it kind of obvious where she is

Ran, I think it's worth leaving both dependencies, and not implementing them into your mod, it will be inconvenient for those authors who would like to include your work in their assembly, this is my personal opinion as an author who would like to include your work in the assembly. And these mods often cost every player, because they are very good.

As for boats, it seems to me personally that beetles have something like underground tunnels that connect the hives to each other and through which they move, it would be logical and explain how the northern hive in the Great Desert replenishes workers and warriors.

You could try to make a rickety bridge from wooden swamp walkways, but this would make their "capital" accessible by humans. I always found it sensible for you to have to swim through acid to get to their queen, because they would probably want to have as few outsiders to be able to get there as possible.
Alternatively, they could be using simple rafts of wooden boats they've built themselves. You can try to fidget with swamp wooden walkways and other clutter pieces from the base game to make some simple "rafts" sit on the shore. Or there is also a mod on workshop that adds modern boats, if you can get permission from the author and scrap some parts from it to make them look less sophisticated - that would look on par with what they're capable of constructing themselves
