@Godsuya i looked into it, i have no idea how i managed to create two of the same defs, thay are completly same. Ignore for now, i will fix it when i will update for 1.6 (1.5 version too)

This is gonna sound stupid... because it is. Could you change '.XML' to '.xml'.

For some ungodly, stupendous reason, rimworld fails sometimes to load the def on Linux because the extension is capitalised... It doesn't care about the name having capitals but for whatever moronic reason it does for the extension.

I've done it locally so I'm all set personally but in case you get a report from someone and it makes zero bloody sense. This might be it.

I seriously question the cross-platform status of this game sometimes. The joys of case sensitive filesystems.

@Battering_Ram it always was fucky-wacky, i tested for a million times and have no idea why severity of immortalities (with my genes) so inconcistent

weird mod conflict maybe celestials maybe sos2 but each time I reload all pawn immortalities are increased. nothing in the logs unfortunately.

@Bone i just made a gene, there is no C# code in my patch to made this, if you really wanna know ask main immortals mod makers about this. I think it's just a Murphy's law thing, and nothing coded to make your expirience worse, just regular random rimworld bulshit

I've noticed in a gunfight, WAY more often than it should be, my Apex Immortal colonist's brain gets immediately destroyed. Is this on purpose, or do I have a mod incompatibility? (Posting here and the other mod comment.)

Is the 'Vanilla Expanded Framework' mode mandatory for this mod? That mod is very affecting the game fps reduction, including too many features I don't need.

How long should it take to resurrect as a grand immortal? My pawn has been dead for 14 days and isn't resurrecting

@roliver839 it gives massive regeneration to immortals, so they can't die from bleeding and toxins, it can die temporaly, but resurrect in couple of days. The only way to kill them for good - behead

@roliver839 it does exactly what immortals mod does, just giving you opportunity to make your pawn immortal with a biotech gene system. You give pawn immortals gene - now they are gonna resurrect after couple of days, but they need to have head and heart intact

@troytech idk how in main Immortals mod, but in rjw or THE FORBIDDEN MOD it makes immortals sterile. In one of its addons they're fertile, but every pregnancy from immortals just ends as miscarriage

@IamWatro and @Rince there is a way through the immortals mod, they have a spawn chance list that you can make. You can leave default or you can change literally any available pawn type to have varying chances and min/max level of immortal. I, personally, tend to set multiple lists so different creatures will have different chances as well as different immortality levels. Do with this as you will.

Is there a way to set immortality chance to 0. Allowing only Pawns with this Gene to be immortal? I love this mod, but hate killing chicken 32 ten times before realizing it's immortal.

@CrackaJack sorry to say it but this mod does not do that, id like to it be way you said but i just cannot make it better as it is, im limited by my enourmosly small brain and short hands. Also im totaly not sure why it gives high immortal status, rimworld coding it's a divine and cosmic art for me, more complex than rocket science

thats very cool indeed, biotech integration i mean. does it remove "regular" immortals from the game, i mean, leave only pawns with that gene immortal? you could add weaker versions of the gene that dont make pawns apex, btw

@CrackaJack i don't remember prios being reseted, my mod only adds a gene that applies immortality on a pawn, whole mechanic things is Immortals mod department xd
Yes it regenerate limbs, the whole point i made this mod is to have biotech interaction, and also giving pawn a gene more fun then giving immortality with dev panel every time

no deathrest- actual death :D but they will get up, i think work prios get resetted iirc? apex immortal makes people regenerate limbs and scars, right?

@Keeweiner nah, this is resurrect you after death and also regenerate limbs and organs via Immortals mod mechanic. Better then deathrest from my perspective

@terrie im asked the guys, and one said its 90% that there is problem with Immortals Gene简体中文汉化 translation mod. Cause it got my mod in dependencies + i know this is first mod for the guy who made it, mb them scrumbled this up. Try to load game with my mod but without translation mod, if error is gone that means our hypotise is right
