@Mlie, do you exclusively update mods or in some occasions also expand them? Because I could see a toggle function to be quite nice. As an icon in the bottom right when in F8 world view. Long caravans often hide landmarks and roads. So I imagine a toggle button to hide and unhide would be a nice QOL feature.

If too inconvenient, it's nothing too dramatic, as removing the spaces between the pawns via mod settings serves as a fair workaround.

Either way, thank you for updating all the mods, it's greatly appreciated!

You should make it so that when a pawn is in a caravan with an animal you can ride, the pawn is on top of the animal.

For anyone who cares. This mod causes errors for Multiplayer, preventing players from joining you. Doesnt always happen, but when it does, its a pain to deal with. You be stuck with join-points of people trying to join but failing repeatedly.

my pawns keep flickering on the world map while moving only fix for me is to disable the swaying animation while travelling

So for some reason the pawns are traveling with their backs forward and also they are spasming out like they have a seizure. I turned off the wobbling animation and the seizure is gone, but they still travel with their backs forward - any way to fix it?

A temporary fix for the flickering issue is to simply disable "Swing animation" from the mod settings. While you do lose the cute animation, at least the flickering issue will never arise, regardless of where you are on the map.

Okay, so after several tests I have come up with this observation:
If the caravan is too close to the left or right of the map, the flickering will occur. The flickering (and distance needed from the furthest edge of either East/West of the map) is more evident the larger the planet size when generating the game. In dev (5%) and 30% the issue was less noticeable, the edge issue not happening at all in the dev map. But at 50%, and especially 100% map sizes, the issue becomes evident much sooner the closer you travel to either edge of the map. It is as if the colonists cross a layer, there is an effect you can notice where they transition over something and after that the flickering begins. As for the inverted icons, this happens when you get close to the top of the map (North), after which it will stay "flipped" until you move down ~25% away, again the distance varies based on the map size, and may not occur on maps <30% in size.

Correction: A brand new (uncleaned) save (new start/dev start) works fine. The flickering issue seems to occur when you add the mod to an existing game. I have no idea where one would even begin to troubleshoot that... I loaded up a brand new game with all my existing mods, and it was working as intended, flicker-free. Would be nice if someone could confirm this works by adding it to an existing save, without the flicker issue. Perhaps it is an existing mod in the loaded mod list that patches something and that gets baked into the save file?

I just tested with no mods (but this one) and I still get the flickering others have mentioned. I wonder if it is a game setting/resolution or something? It definitely isn't a mod conflict. For now I've had to turn the swinging animation off, but hopefully the issue can be found as it is so cute!

When moving diagonally, the animation freaks out on the head pawn, switching rapidly between facing to the side and facing upwards.

My Little Planet is reponsible for making the caravans "flicker." It seems they are Z-fighting with the planet itself, as they 'flicker' in a polygonal way. Seems that the caravan's depth function doesn't expect a differently sized planet. It gets worse the smaller the planet is. @mile sorry I was in the process of updating all my mods after having a break, I didn't realise you had been bug fixing. I am now playing so I will let you know if I find any issues but so far so good. Thanks very much for fixing an old favourite mod.

First update of the mod I did was to fix the issues in the southern hemisphere. Are any of the comments about this version of the mod?
