Sometimes the main screen generated by the mod is displayed and sometimes it is not. Is there a way to display only this mod screen?

@A. A. Ginting No worries. Admittedly, at the time I was making the mod, I forgot about those that use the Music Modding System. So there may not be any compatibility for it, I think. There are talks about trying to integrate MMS with some of my shells but thats really it.

I am scared to asked, but the Shell music seems to be clashing with the menu music when using other Music mods (Nier music being one of them) is there anyway to hear only the shell music? Thanks in advance!

@SuperDigga Ty for the feedback. This is merely for fun; I dont expect people to download and keep somethin as big as this. Had these maps been used for tactical missions that would be awesome. But thats beyond me -- besides these maps werent meant for a grid like like xcom anyway lol.

Flooded City and a few others matched XCOM style, but unfortunately file is 2,04 GB so i wont keep it. Im afraid it will slow down the play.

@Tech-Priest That is beyond me I am afraid. Besides the Nier maps werent exactly meant to have a grid like style like what xcom does. Converting such a map like niers to xcom is waaaay beyond my expertise :conwayheadscratch:

Making the maps as part of the missions is waaay beyond my expertise I'm afraid. But it would be awesome. Having shades as lost monsters would be cool, I do not know how to do that either though

Request: Can you make some of them available operation/mission maps?
So that the 2gb doesn't go to waste just for a randomized title screen. Loved them though and i expect a Shade-tinted Lost or (in Skyrim and Fallout) monsters.

@Kasrkin John These maps spawn whenever you start up the game in the main menu, you know where the trooper stands idle during the main menu screen.

There is another method if you want a specific map you like to be in the main menu: If you have the console commands enabled when you start the game, once you're in the main menu, hit the console command button "~" and type in "open (the name of the shell without the .umap extension-- check the name of the umap in the (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\2887216332\\ContentForCook)"

i think there may be a small bug with the shack shell and the character pool. when i select a character from the pool their preview model doesn't load. other shells don't have this issue and it wasn't an issue before the dark falling pixel fix (i think). its not really a big deal for me but i thought i'd mention it.

I'm playing the GOG version of XCOM 2/WotC with 120 mods activated (including this one). I added your mod midgame (end-May 2035) and it's working excellent. My computer: Intel Core i9-13900K, nVidia GeForce 3090 Ti, 128 GB RAM@3200 MHz, two 4 TB SSD M.2 PCIe Gen4x4 drives, two 2 TB SSD M.2 PCIe Gen3 and two "normal" 8 TB Samsung SSDs (especially for video encoding, data storage and backup), Windows 10 Pro 22H2.
Due to the powerful machine the game is working very smoothly with all these mods - no tugging, no nothing to report.
A fascinating mod enhancing XCOM 2 to a higher level! I like your maps that make the game more real and complex, for example "City Ruins - Location [Unknown]". I don't know anything about the "Nier series" but the maps are very interesting. Excellent artwork!

I tried your advice and it worked. Additionally, I tried unsubbing (and liking) the previous Nier shell mod. It also required exiting and restarting the game. Otherwise I only had two vanilla shells to choose from.

@Regnart Seht Numerous people that have subbed to my other shell mod also faced that issue. What you could do are the following:
* Download "Remove Missing Mods [WOTC]". Once in Strategy, create a new save and unbind missing mods when saving your game. This may work.
* Use the console command "open xcomshell". This opens a shell you have at random I believe

This mod looks great. Sadly, I can only see the generic reaper crouching in front of the Commander's pod. What bias do I need to set the maps to, to beat out that generic start screen?

@RakkoHug~<3 Oh right forgot to add that to the FAQ thanks. You can remove the Kaine's Shack mod as that shell is already included in the LMR. If however, you don't want this whole module and want just the shack you can keep it.
