1, Lego Minecraft is an existing Lego theme.
2, This was created when every stage I did was Lego. I only recently broke out of that style with Green Hill (October 12th, 2023) while New World was back in November of 2022.

I do agree it'd be great in a more Rivals' art style, and I would love to remake it someday, but I can't make any promises.

Why did you have to make it lego though?
It would work SO well as just a regular Minecraft map!

Thanks!
There's sadly nothing I can do about that. The ground is made using articles to get the different sizes, and for whatever reason, certain moves no longer work. It's something to do with how Dan coded those moves or maybe the articles themselves.

fun stage the is a bug relating to the ground properties. Where some moves that interact with the ground like sylvanos grass, kragg down b, and sylvanos up b dont work properly.

?????

No one I know, including myself, is making or has plans to make Milla. Freedom Planet is a smaller series so I doubt many people want to create characters for it.

What's the answer to the question that I asked about Milla being added to Rivals?
ATalksToSelf  [author] 19 Dec, 2022 @ 4:40pm
Good question!

Will Milla Basset EVER make it to Rivals?
ATalksToSelf  [author] 12 Dec, 2022 @ 4:23pm
I wasn't talking to Aperson lol
to.aedan 12 Dec, 2022 @ 9:19am
Yeah, Aperson, How about you do whatever it takes and Add Milla Basset to Rivals.
ATalksToSelf  [author] 11 Dec, 2022 @ 10:05am
Indeed!

Why not make Milla yourself though?
Aperson 11 Dec, 2022 @ 10:04am
Ah yes, that well known Minecraft character!
to.aedan 11 Dec, 2022 @ 9:41am
Who will get Aperson to add Milla Basset into Rivals of Aether?
hyuponia 30 Nov, 2022 @ 10:42pm
this is super well made!!
Salamender 16 Nov, 2022 @ 6:56pm
That kinda sucks.
still a cool stage tho
Detrinious 16 Nov, 2022 @ 12:19pm
This one of the best stages ive ever seen, absolutely PHENOMENAL work!
ATalksToSelf  [author] 15 Nov, 2022 @ 4:07pm
Sadly there's nothing I can do about that, they behave weirdly with articles. Blame Dan's code lol
I will push a fix if someone discovers one but for now, no idea.

This stage is pretty sick, the only problem I had with it is for some reason cpus didn't really know how to recover on this stage
Joe gaming 14 Nov, 2022 @ 4:25pm
Oh I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know!
zyph 14 Nov, 2022 @ 2:37pm
no problem! it def paid off haha.

also yeah, i can relate a ton. i'm down to do pretty much every aspect of a character *except* the animations, and that's unfortunately the bulk of making a character. definitely a nice way to learn animation though if you're working with a concept/IP that you really like. stage making's something i'd like to stick to as well if i ever stick around after finishing my char, there's something really cool about being able to play on something you drew/sprited.

Thank you! I'm glad people are enjoying it. I went a bit overboard compared to my original idea but I think the extra work was worth it.

As for the character idea, I'd love to but I'm not that great with animation. I'm down to learn but that does require a big time commitment if I do make a character, so I'm sticking to stages for now since there's more I want to make. Might at least try an SSL character as a starting point in the future.

also since i'm already commenting, just wanted to say this stage rules!! already left my fave and award a few days ago but this is easily one of my favorite stages on the workshop. it's nuts that you did over 16 layouts for this and they all look really good too.
zyph 14 Nov, 2022 @ 2:20pm
@Joe gaming
i don't mean to talk for the creator, but as someone currently working on a char and has done stages before, characters are just a considerably larger amount of time/effort compared to stages. there's a lot that goes into them. @_@

stage making's just really fun and you get the satisfaction of being able to complete a smaller project. there's a lot of animation/coding work that goes into each and every attack and movement option for a character, so it tends to take long periods of time which can feel discouraging when you've been chipping away at a project for months. also if you're more into doing static art, stage making's just the more appealing option for making mods since you won't have to worry about the animation/coding aspects as much compared to a fully functioning character.

sorry for the long response, just saw this and wanted to give some perspective. hope this sheds some light though!
Joe gaming 14 Nov, 2022 @ 1:44pm
Why don't you just make a lego character if you made these many lego stages?
404_coffee.exe 14 Nov, 2022 @ 11:22am
the fact that is specifically lego really vibes with me for some reason
Monkey Heist 12 Nov, 2022 @ 9:19am
This is awesome.
ATalksToSelf  [author] 12 Nov, 2022 @ 7:09am
Honestly, agreed. I haven't even seen a wip or idea for one.
Crashy 12 Nov, 2022 @ 4:10am
With how many LEGO stages there are, I'm surprised nobody's made a high quality, non-SSL LEGO fighter yet.
Aperson 11 Nov, 2022 @ 4:41pm
Immidate like, favourite and collection add.
