some mods incorrectly add scopes to weapons, so they are breaking it

@Certified Dad Kisser Well Ik they are there. Are you trying to do Zeus via EDEN, If so have you set up the Zeus module connected to the player, Including the "Include all addons + Unoffical Addons" Dropdown?

I think its like biofoam can heal everything decently well, but other bandages might be better, but its the only thing u can use for plamsa (that and medigel).

but biofoam in the unit rules u can only take like 15 where as other bandages u can like 30 or something to make it a balance trade off.

so the idea was for innies u take bandages and for covie ops u take biofoam.

Sounds fair and somewhat realistic. Figured I'd bring it up, since standard OPTRE permits bandages to patch up their plasma wounds, and wasnt sure if the opposite with this mod was intentional. 👍

oh well plasma wounds are intended to ONLY be healed by biofoam

i think it can, since im having the same issue in single player. plasma burns and cant use bandages on them.

Velocity can be patched up with bandages after trying to patch up the person with biofoam, but any plasma related wounds wont be able to be patched up with bandages.

so ur saying if left and right arm have each 1 plasma and say 1 velocity. if I use biofoam to heal plasma, I cant use elastic to heal the velocity?

I noticed an issue with this mod and ACE medical.

If a person receives multiple plasma burn wounds on separate limbs, using biofoam (from 1st MEU and/or OPTRE) will cause a glitch that prevents ACE bandages from being used on any other wound. Other medical items seem to work just fine, and you can actually use both biofoam and bandages on balistic wounds, but plasma burns seem to be the only source of issue.

Tried testing this without the 1st MEU mod active, and I don't have this issue.

Great mod though, look forward to seeing more of what you guys make. Hope you guys manage to fix this soon, as my boys like using saving the biofoam for MASSCAS situations, and letting the bandaids to all the heavy lifting.

I think the keys need updating as I am getting a warning on my server saying that this mod requires a key even though the key is on there.

@Devoted Sentry Animations I believe you are able to just unload ace and majority of the things will work, Not sure myself because Well, I use ace with it so ya know, 0 Clue. Some in the past have said you can so just give it a go

I saw that ace is in the dependencies section, is it possible at all to use this mod without that, or is that impossible? I ask because my friends don't want to do ace right now but this mod looks very nice for adding to my halo missions

u have to add the helmets manually to OPTRE options for the Mjolnir Hud

For whatever reason me and my friends noticed that the elite helmets do not allow you to turn on the Mjolnir HUD but the armour works fine with the helmets in OPTRE. Also, the elite armour was tuned up to extremes in terms of shield strength that I had to turn it down in the MEU options by default

After further testing, it seems to be a compatibility issue with the OPTRE balance mod.

Is this a compatibility issue with other mods? I have tried reinstalling all of the mods that I am currently using and nothing seems to have fixed the issue

The only change I've managed to make is by changing what mods I've loaded. With my full modlist, the aboved 4 shots strength situation happens, but with just MEU and dependancies the same issue persists with 9 shot strengths instead. Without This mod I have no issues with the base OPTRE shield values, can edit them freely.

I'm way out of my depth here. This is probably too much of a conversation for steam comments so if you'd be happy to continue elsewhere let me know. Just really hoping to fix this as its getting in the way of missions I'm wanting to run for friends.

@Venom, I have, nothing has changed. Regardless I'm not even trying to change the values, I'm fine with using the preset values, but not even those are working. By default the elite minor vest's shields are set to a modifier of 3.80, and take 4 MA5C shots to break. Elite Major shields have a modifier of 8.10, and also take 4 shots. Ultras, 12.15, 4 shots. Zealots, 24.30, also 4 shots. Nothing I do changes this. I've restarted, I've made sure I'm changing server settings, I'm changed everything that i can think could have an effect both in 1st MEU settings and OPTRE powered Mjolnir settings, tested both MEU Elites/vests and base OPTRE Elites/Vest. I've tested in a single player scenario, a multiplayer, and on a proper functioning server. Issue still persists.

@RezPutain You might need to reset the scenario in order for the chanve to take affect, and just double check you are chaning the server setting, Not mission or client

@Venom, The custom shield values that can be edited under "1st MEU Aux Mod" in the addon options. When I adjust the slider, all elite shields, both on the MEU vest and the base OPTRE vests drop after 4 MA5C shots, no matter what I change.

@Venom, I did notice that setting and messed around with it, however I failed to figure out how it worked. I'm not very knowledgeable with scripts, coding, or other similar stuff so I get kinda overwhelmed trying to figure this stuff out. You wouldn't happen to have a breakdown of how it works? Or be able to provide a small explanation yourself?

@RezPutain Yuh, we edit shield values for our MEU Versions of Elites and their Armors, As for why it may not be working and changing who knows, We have custom Addon options under 1st MEU that allows different shield values depending on rank, we also have a setting where you can input custom classnames and modify yourself, Mabye try that out???

Hey, I really like this mod and what it adds, but every time I load it, it messes with AI elite shield values, not letting them change with different armours and I can't figure out why? Any thing like this been happening to anyone else? Any solution?

I've loaded just this mod and dependencies, and the issue still persists so i don't think it's a mod confliction. When I load just OPTRE without this mod, shield values work fine. Maybe I'm missing something in the Addon Options, but I just can't figure it out.

They are literally using OPTRE_UnderBarrelSlot_rail incorrectly, so its really not our problem but theirs. We are not going to change so pick a mod and unload the other.

Unload spartan eagle company and see if that work. The other dude that was talking to me said that fixed it. I dont exactly have the harddrive space right now to download it can check. The gun in the error is doing the same stuff as base optre so they probably messed something in spartan eagle but again I cant check cause space

Reason I ask is someone else was showing the same error, we are not getting this error on our servers. The narrowed it down to The Carver Findings and Spartan Eagle Compnay mod, and they said it was Spartan Eagle mod
