That brown blob comes from the Mod "The Teleportation Wars 2". You need to use it too to see those sectors.

I advice not using it, though, as that mod seems broken for current versions of the game.

When i start a custom start and watch the Universe, there is not this big brown cluster on left top like in the image.. what does this mean ?

Changing the map image is something I usually forget. Will be updated now. But still without gate connection, though.


New Sectors themself don't decrease performance, but the factions will once they claim them and build something in there.

Can confirm connections are as they should, for a running savegame i had to do some saveedit ( close the gates in file , load the save, save again, force open the gates in file. ) but now its all to how it should be, thanks @Epidra

Was just looking to get back to the game, great to see this mandatory mod has been updated this quickly. Vanilla/modded images above don't seem to reflect the update, but I assume that's coming eventually, hardly a pressing matter.

Additionally:
Light Water and Fifth Cascade are now connected via the new Boron Epilogue Event found in base game, wher after 2 hours a broadcast comes on telling two gates are opening. Those gates would have otherwise led to Getsu fune and Adventure's Promise. The gate Barren Shores <-> Familly Kritt is still activated by visiting the furthest boron sectors.
Additionally, the second gates in Cascade and Water only flip on when visiting those sectors. Giving the borons a little breathing room to settle in before the rest of the network connects to it.

Update 4.20:
Finally found the problem with the overlapping Rusiris' Dream gate connection
- It was only showing on the small map in custom start for me, so I never found it during regular testing, but it's gone now

Moved a few sector around Third Redemption to make space for it.
Connected Tempting Fumes to Atiya's Misfortune instead Cardinal's Domain
Connected Circle of Deceit to Red Light (xpan)
Changed gate positions in some newer xpan sector to make more sense

Dude, the new update is just a few hours out and I haven't even downloaded it yet. And I have to test everything against the new dlc. People who immideatly for patches are highly infuriating.

I don't do ETA's, so don't ask.

Added Support for the newest sectors from XPAN Advanced

The rest of the problems, like the Ocean of Fantasy gate, will be done once the current beta ends.

There are new sectors and some surprising connections. And the official version will be even more complicated, thanks to the planned storyline. (connection of new gates and added there in the original sectors, several completely new gates inactive for the time being)

After i got Fifth Cascade finally connected to Ocean of Fantasy in 7.10, the north gate in Ocean of Fantasy now is missing, may it be possible to readd it? As the second gate ( now eastwards ) is connected to Getsu Fune of all places. Cheers~

Update 4.11:
Added Support for the new 7.50 sectors
Added Support for the mod Ethereal Enclave
Added Support for new sectors on Xpan Advanced and repaired changed connection between:
- Red Light <-> Ket's Reckoning
- Boneyard <-> Legal Directive

I have not seen any other overlapping or otherwise problematic sectors.
Further adjustments to the new sectors will appen once 7.50 leaves the beta.

If you're using any additional sector mods it makes the galaxy map look like spaghetti. It's good for vanilla, though :)

There is a message from last month on the nexus post for XPANed which claimed that

The paranid sector in the area around 4.30 pm (clock image) has "Cardinals Domain" overlapping with "Sacred Relic", and a little more to the top right of that I found that "Unholy Retribution" overlaps with "Loomankeks Legacy" (hard to read, since the names are overlapping too.

Obviously could be user error, but if you're looking at the XPANed mod compatibility (below)...

with XPANed Sectors Advanced there is an issue with the gate connection

Rusiris' Dream X and II are both connected to the same gate in Spaceweed Grove and the one in Rusiris' Dream X is also connected to Nopileos' Legacy

would be great if you can patch this but i will try it myself too

Hello,there is a connection problem between Zyarth's Dominion I, zyarth defense and Rhy's Defiance. Zyarth Defense and Rhy's Defiance are connected to the same gate of Zyarth's Dominion I. north gate.

Can I use some of the individual sector mods that Added More Sectors combines and your mod will still recognize the sector's and move them (as it looks for the sector names), or are you looking for the specific Added More Sectors mod?

I figured out what the problem was - it was Add More Sectors. That's what was causing the overlap. Didn't even realize I had it on.

Update 4.10:
Redid the DeadAir Sector Connections. Caldari still fits nicely in my original design, but I'm not happy with the rest. But they now fixed and working again.

The Map in the gallary is now outdated and will be replaced later.

Total Conversion mods like X Reemergence are by design incompatible with my mod and I do not intent to change that.

Wow, made two comments before I realised that never once did you actually say that X: Reemergence is compatible with this. Very smort!

Just for my peace of mind, you don't have any intentions to bring the two in line, right? Reemergence adds a lot of sectors, so I honestly wouldn't blame you if you didn't.

Deadair came out with an update for their factions, so they work with 7.0, but it seems to have broken gate connections for the Gallente and Minmatar factions when used together with this mod.

Well i learned something and now i can customize my universe, i have found out how the connection works and know which sector is which by now ( which number belongs to which ) from there the gate-connections are really safe explanatory ( Number A to Number B, where the gates "usually" face each other) , i have tried to customize some gate-connections and it works like a charm, did connect earth directly to the Yaki-Xenon sector XD was fun.

A big bummer that the gate ids seem to be unique to each savegame and not static, would make altering the gate connections a lot easier.

Overall i wouldnt recommend it to people, but if you know what youre doing you could really customize all gate connections, i am still figuring stuff out, but if you use force open and know both gate ids you can connect any 2 gates really, the ai even uses them with proper pathfinding ( for gates that is, didnt test to adjust accelarators or highways yet, probably a lot more issues with those ).

The sectors themself from that mod work without problem. The actual issue with "Add More Sectors" is that it adds connections to gates that I'm also using, leading to 2 connections for some gates with one only actually usuable. I do not care enough about that mod to sit down and rewire its sectors.
