The mod seems broken the cockpit needs energy and I dont understand the purpose of the engine room

I combine this mod and the directional explosives mod to make a very devastating custom missile. ripping to shreds light-medium armored ships (based on creative mode and with more armor variant mods like tri-steel armor, heavy armor, and light armor).

i dont know if this works, but can you make a Hangar where small ships can land and can be carried around from a bigger ship?

@NucleorWill14 I can't make a type of armor that instantly breaks when it is exploded from the inside, but a type of armor that explodes sharpnals when broken is something I can try

hello again I have been testing the mod in creative and I think I have managed to find the main problem when used in career mode. when a ship loses a block of any type or shape (because it is destroyed by the enemy or a manual detonation) if the ship has no crew it is automatically treated as scrap, that is why control of the ship is lost and the projectiles automatically no longer deal damage, such as from your claymore mod. I hope this information be useful for you

I kinda wish the large ship explosive did more damage. I did a design similar to the picture of the mod, a medium one encased in armor to protect it towards its target. Found out that the AI didn't even shoot at it and the damage wasn't that devastating. In fact the armor hindered the blast potential. A cool addition would be a new armor block which would act like normal unless it takes damage from the explosive and would be destroyed without hindering the explosive, or better yet, the armor could break apart and act like shrapnel. Just a suggestion but really cool concept

Very good mod that add a new mechanics for the fight, love it ! I made a ballistic missile using wireless energy and it rock ! Only thing is that the mod doesn't work in multiplayer (say incompatible in the lan lobby) . at least with the steam workshop it doesnt work, but we will try this afternoon GMT+1 to install the mod directly in a form of a zip (i saw a mod where that was the solution so better try than die). I'm aware of the issue about control loss in career so if it's happen i won't notice it . but Maybe those two problem are linked .

Anyway i use the claymore mod to create a penetrating shrapnel in the aftermat, i really feel like those scientist that test the tank shell on thicc steel plate ! so again, very good mod and thanks for your work :)

yeah it maybe because there is no power gen for the ship , or there is no crew. It is a base game thing and C# modding haven't been in , but I am trying to see if there is a way to bypass that

huuuuu I see... that's exactly my problem, when I separate it from the ship with explosives I lose control of the prototype... I'll try another approach. maybe creating it as a crewed ship and abandoning it... thank you very much for the answer and great job

Currently there is a major issue where you loss control over the vessel in career mode, so I am trying to see if it is possible to patch it via some way

@Ivhans You need to add airlocks to allow crew to enter and fuel the small control room & engines. Do note you have to manually designate a resource line from a reactor to fuel them , crew will not do it automatically.

And remember to cancel the supply line before splitting it off with a explosive to avoid a bug with supply lines and spitted ships

@Xavius yes, it does. But it will still run out of power if there is no one to refuel it

hmm can you overlook about your script? your mod made some errors of the game so cant start with it.
