I'm not aware of any vanilla 20rd STANAG mags, however without optional CBA compat, you should be able to load any mag that's compatible with vanilla STANAG magwell, except for SPAR double drums.

And with the optional CBA compat .pbo loaded, this extends to CBA STANAGs (including traditional 30rd double stacks and 60rd quad stacks) from other mods.

If you're not seeing a mag that you think should work, then either you're missing the CBA compat file, or the mod that this mag comes from is borked.

Tbh I just want the MX to eject cases, I can't stand caseless. If you aren't keen, would you mind giving me a pointer how to do it myself?

Not interested in that, especially since MX magwell is noticeably smaller, so 5,56 mag would look even more out of place than in case of Promet (where it's just slightly misplaced).

Heads up: I've found out that when using CBA JR compat, the scopes would appear invisible on the gun, due to wrong class inheritance in config. How I haven't noticed it before, I honestly don't know. It's fixed now.

I'll think about it - it shouldn't be too hard (unless I'll somehow run into some weird class inheritance problem), but at this moment I'm tinkering with a separate "2020 LDF" faction addon, which naturally uses 5.56 Promets (among other little changes).

Ah no, I know vanilla Arma has many issues. I hate playing Arma without mods because of how bad quality assets in it are.

With regards to functionality, fair enough despite it not looking realistic enough to some people.

When having a choice between functionality and aesthethics, I tend to go for functionality. Afterall, without ability to put a suppressor on, the gun would have a pretty limited role. Especially the "sniper" MR variant.

And it's not like vanilla game doesn't have tons of issues with clipping animations/equipment. Hell, Promet is especially cursed because it's BUIS are still visible when using Promet Modular Sight - the irons are folded but are rather obviously clipping through the bottom of PMS.

With regards to muzzle devices though, I'd just prevent them being used if you can't fix their position.

Good news everyone! The missing tracer variations for Promet 5.56 magazine have been added - now there are seven types of Promet 5.56 mag available (non-tracer, tracer and reload tracer in red, green and yellow colours), plus naturally other STANAG mags.

See changelog for classnames.

@krzychuzokecia mate... Thank you for that mod. It is really nice and I believe it is something that was missing! I do like Promet model a lot and I would love to use it in many "near future" set ups and some SCP settings that I have in mind (even some PvP ones) and having a 5.56 variant is really helpful! I would like to ask though if it would be possible to have tracer-round magazines with other tracer colours too! It would be really nice to be able to use them in some kind of PvP or PvEvP scenarions and different tracer colours are extremely usefull in these kind of scenarios!

In other news, the mod is now compatible with CBA Joint Rails and Joint Magazines. Just move compatibility .pbo with it's sign file from "@KrzyPromet556\Optional" folder to "\Addons", and make sure @CBA_A3 is loaded too.

This allows you to use plethora of optics and accessories from other CBA-compatible mods (such as CUP), and even those cool Surefire 60 round mags!

"Adjusted"? The way vanilla Arma works, the zero setting is always absolute value in meters, no matter what weapon you're using. You can check that by using "DMS Kir" scope on any other rifle - you'll be dead on, no matter which zero range you've set with scroll-wheel.

Promet sight doesn't really have any sort of BDC in it's reticle, so center dot is always zero'd at 300 meters, no matter weapon/cartridge used. The top of bottom vertical post can be used to aim at 500 meter range with vanilla 5.56 ammo, and (IIRC, it's been some time since I was checking that) about 600-700 with 6.5. Similiarly the back-up "pistol" sights of PMS have 200 meter zero.

I have no idea how PMS behaves with mods like ACE Advanced Ballistics - I don't use them.
