It wouldn't help, as the game decides to use the smaller variants based on the size of the window, and isn't aware of it being scrollable. I could maybe add something to control what can and can't be compressed. I'll look into it when I have time.

Is it possible to add a config to determine after how many needs the needs tab becomes scrollable? i really hate the look of the compact food sleep and recreation bars

Thanks for the mod, would like to report a small possible UI bug when used with Vanilla Aspirations Expanded, the bottom of needs is slightly cut off and its hard to see the icons from that mod. If you find time, can you kindly adjust for that mod please? thanks!

The create xenotype screen doesn't have a scrollbar for the selected genes. It doesn't cause problems until you have over 60 genes, but well, I'm the kind of player that puts that many genes on his genotypes, lol.

That isn't actually a lack of it being scroll-able, it already does add scrollbars if needed. It is due to a bug in how the list is rendered. So I added a fix for that bug to this mod, enjoy!
The fix is only included for RimWorld 1.5, I'll back port it to 1.4 if someone asks for it.

bro could you make dev windows scroll-able? im talking like the devtool add xenogene window. many potential genes means i cant access half of them cause i cant scroll down

Could you use this for the Needs tab? A bunch of people got on me, saying that this mod effects that tab, but it doesn't. I got too many needs for my colonists that it's only showing a couple lol.

You mean the one that pops up if you click the Xenotype (e.g. "baseliner", "yttakin", etc)? But that window is scrollable in vanilla. It expands to the top of the screen, then gets a scrollbar.

I can't say for sure from your description alone, but possibly.
I suggest you just try it. This mod doesn't affect your save at all (well except for the list of active mods in the save), so it is safe to just remove it it doesn't help. It is also pretty unlikely to have conflicts with other mods.

I found out about this mod because I set vanilla skills expanded to allow for all of the expertise to be applied to one colonist, and now I can't see the top of the colonist's bio (at the moment, the top of the screen shows the colonist's location, faction, etc, instead of their name and age like you would see in a regular bio). Someone in the discussion section for the mod said this mod might be able to address that problem-is that true?

I have the "Take it to Storage" mod which adds another button, moving the "Unpause at: x" options disappear on stuff like the Tailor's table. Would it be possible to add one in this instance?

Not automatically, but it's actually extremely easy for them to change it (even for users, it's just a number in a config file to change). And they have expressed that the only reason they did not want to allow that change is because they do not want to solve the UI issue.

Well then it won't help. VIE won't automatically let you have more memes just because the memes list get scrollable. It is probably better if the mod that allows you more than 8 implements the scrolling for that view.

It does with mods. Problem is that mods like Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Memes and Structures refuses to allow over 8 memes because of the UI issue.

I do not know if it applies, but the list of followed memes cannot show more than 8 memes, the rest disappears outside of the menu. They are shown horizontally so I'm guessing it would require a scrollbar or similar to work, though.

Seems to work fine to me. What is the specific problem?

It does not add scrolling to RimHUD's display, but I'm only doing vanilla windows. If the RimHUD display should be scrollable or not should be up to its developer.
