long blunt scrap weapons do not multi hit! I died trying to multi hit a group of zombies with my tincan mace and got bit..

I tested other scrap weapons too and it seems like only long blunts do not multi hit.

Is this a bug?

Will this mod help long blunts in anyway?

These mods don't touch anything related to vehicles besides breaking down parts on the metal workbench

I think there's a few re-uploads of Vehicle Recycling that fixes that issue

Car wrecks still seem to require an entire propane torch to scrap.

@Skybox @fwouedd Fixed all instances of MetalSheet I could find in my most recent update, if you know of any more, let me know!

Thanks for the patch, this stuff was annoying to deal with. Would also like to second @fwouedd's request for the repair recipe fix if at all possible.

Thanks so much for the mod, fixed my problems I had.

Hi, thanks for the mod.
Your can also fix the "MetalSheet" in some repair recipes (axes and longblades), the current real name is "SheetMetal".

hi, im trying to craft a salvaged spear, but everytime it consumes all the itens needed for the recipe and it looks like the spear disappears or it doesnt craft at all, idk what its happening

@WilloWisp, I don't have too much info on it myself but I've found a handful of links online that talk about the cordless.drill item causing multiplayer servers to terminate and causing general glitchiness. Here are a couple of the links I found. If you can't fix it I understand, I barely know my way around Lua either and I've been looking at it off and on for over 12 years. It just seems that this glitch with base.cordlessdrill has been causing a lot of issues, and I don't think the item actually provides anything in the workshop mod, but I'll keep looking at it in singleplayer.

@Chad Thundercock I've never heard of that bug, not gonna lie. Any more info you could provide about it? Bear in mind fixing that might be outside of my skills, still fairly new at working with lua stuff.

As for the belt and spear thing brought up by @LGBTQ+ Muslim and @Asherogar, the belt errors (I assume you're talking about the error spam that happens when you hover over a belt?) seem to be benign, the belts can still be equipped and used in recipes so it's low priority for me. As for the spear thing... I'm not sure I want to put in gameplay balances like that, it's a bit outside the scope of this mod. Sorry.

Hi, curious if you've fixed the glitch with server hosting where base.cordless drill was causing servers to be terminated. If you did that would be awesome! Thanks for keeping these mods around!
Asherogar 30 Nov, 2022 @ 2:58am
It's because of the regular Belt. When you first find Tool Belt, all regular Belts bug out, lose their stats window and start spamming errors. I haven't tried to wear this bugged regular Belts, but they're still usable in recipes.

Btw, would be really nice to allow repair of Salvaged Spear with duct tape and stuff. Currently it's pretty stupid how expensive this weapon is, considering all the requirements to even make it. 1/10 break chance sucks too...

Hey mate. Amazing to see that somebody is trying to keep the scrap mods alive! I have one problem though. I encountered a bug though and though that you night be able to fix it. When I equip the tool belt from the Scrap workshop mod, I encounter errors whatever I do.

I was honestly baffled for a while, wondering why on earth The Workshop overwrote the vanilla propane tank in the first place.
Then I realised, vanilla propane tanks just disappear once depleted, that's the reason.
Thanks, PZ

Glad to see you worked it out.
WillowWisp  [author] 19 Nov, 2022 @ 2:22pm
Ah, thanks for letting me know! I'll look into it over the next couple of days and see if I can sort it, still rather new at dealing with lua stuff
Infernus 18 Nov, 2022 @ 11:17pm
@WillowWisp - If you want to add another fix: vanilla propane tanks now have more uses (0.0625 UseDelta), but The Workshop still overwrites them with the old value (0.125).

And thank you for the already patched stuff, of course.
