The goal of the design was to test how much of a departure i could make from the default appearance. Mostly inspired by full body reskins that modern class-based games like Apex Legends do.
I personally don’t see anyone getting confused or misidentifying the Pyro in-game, especially since there’s already cosmetics that replace his entire head and jumpsuit.
