I feel like you're missing an upgrade path for war machines? There's a single tech (Sky-barrier) for flying machines but that's it.

Could you maybe combine the missile infantry tech trees (since they're identical) into a single tree and then add a new tree for war machines that includes upgrades for the Dawi air force?

Update:
-Added 3 new abilities. Removed the Shildwall ability from the tech tree because CA added the ability itself to the tech tree. And 2 almost identical abilities make no sense. That's why new abilities were added.
-Removed the effect that swapped the cannon's projectiles so that the vanilla effect of switching ammunition works again.

the grapeshots are quite buggy if things become added to it, even vanilla.
it seems to remove it if rune of seeking is added to it, in vanilla.

i would say that the "greater cannona balls" are not the issue for the incompatibility,
but just bad coding and writing of the game.

1: do you plan to add balistic plating to the: "dwarf shild wall"?
2: any plans on research for the thunderbarge?
"hail of bullets" and "dont look up" currently dont effect the thunderbarge.

With the mod on, Thunderbarge won't be able to use Thunderburner or Spear of Grungni. They just dont show up. Happens in campaign aswell as skirmish vs AI.

@Vasily Zaitsev: You're right, the giantslayer was missing. that's a mistake by CA. They forgot to add the giantslayers to the unit set Dwf_infantry, all other infantry units are in the set. I have corrected this.

can confirm, the cannona balls research makes the grapeshot dissapear

@Freelancerfreak: I have checked and you are right. Unfortunately, it can't be prevented. In this case, you should do without the "Greater Cannona Balls" technology if possible.

First off, i love your Tech-Tree mods. Great work!
I found something during a malakai makaisson campaign, where if you finish the Objective for the Cannons from Malakais Adventures that gets them Grapeshot, THEN finish the research "Greater Cannona Balls", the option to switch the Ammunition disappears from every Cannon recruited and is not shown anymore in the recruitment panel.
However, it does not affect other traits given to the Cannon by the Adventures, such as reload-time reduction or Recruit rank (as far as i could see)
Since its JUST Malakais Campaign that gets affected by i guess just one tech its not that bad, just wanted to report that.

The Mod has been updatet. The mod has its own mod rider. Unfortunately, these tabs and at the same time the headings/technology groups are not compatible, so unfortunately headings are no longer possible (CA has not yet got the hang of this).
Please test and give feedback. I currently have to update many mods, so not much time to test sorry.

Ugh, the new 5.0 patch ruined the vanilla dwarf tech tree and broke this mod too. Dwarf tech tree is awful now.

For everyone asking about SFO you should make your own submod or ask one of the creators who *exclusively* make submods. There is no way to make this mod function for both Vanilla and SFO. It will require a Sub-Mod.

Seems to crash as soon as I research the shieldbreaker upgrade for thunderers. Crashes as soon as the turn loads and I select any army that might have Thunderers in it. If I don't have any unit in the army the game plays fine, as soon as I even hover the mouse on top of recruiting one then it hard crashes to desktop. To be fair I don't know if there is a conflict with both 'ammo types 3' mod and 'runes of the karaz ankor' mod for upgrades. Don't know if it happens with any of the other upgrades in that specific tree window, I will try to avoid them for the time being.

die Aufteilung im Forschungs-Menü geändert. So sind deine Techs leider nicht nutzbar derzeit. was Echt schade ist.

Sehr guter Mod! Ist eine deutsche Version möglich? Momentan habe ich ein klein wenig auf deutscht und den Rest auf englisch. ich kann zwar Texte übersetzen, aber beim Modden selber muss ich leider passen.

Very good mod! Is a German version possible? At the moment I have a little bit in German and the rest in English. I can translate texts, but unfortunately I have to pass on modding myself.

Hello, I really liked the mod, but I have to say it makes the game way too easy... I would prefer if a lot of research cost a lot of Oathgold/Gold at least, as it is often more powerful than the vanilla research. Researching the whole of artillery tech increases your arty damage output by 25%, than add to that a normal research which adds 15% reload speed and we have 40%, then add the Lord unit buff tree which adds additional what, 15%? And we already have 55% increase, which means 2 arty units have the damage of 3.
