I've heard this a few times from different sources. I have no idea why it happens other than the game maxes out what its capable of.. Mod limit and all that. I've tinypng'd the images to make them smaller, but I'm not sure what else to do.
Army of the Dead now works because its just a simple stun skill
Dmg increased to -40% mod (was -99%%)
now usable from ranks 32, and can hit 123 single target.
Deathcoil dmg increased to 0% mod (was 50%)
other scenarios these white boxes appeared (both even without a Forsaken on the party):
- sometimes happens on quest conclusion prompt (where u have the option to return to hamlet or continue exploring a dungeon).
- IIRC these white boxes also showed on the Resonant skills and idle animations, but I was able to deal with these simply by switching palettes

That was originally part of the mod way back when. But I removed it when RH did the same for Abomination.
tldr: Slayer / Forsaken sound should work. let me know if ya'll see any other sound issues now.
I found the issue and seem to have fixed it. I apologize everyone for your lost Skele boys. But he should be back now.
@lotus: Without going into FMOD and basically modding the character yourself, you'd just have to turn down global fx sounds in game menu..

@Lotus: I actually have in my notes that the sounds are too quiet... Do you feel all of them are too loud or just particular ones?
Latest series of patches fix decomposition tooltip, plague carrier cooldown tooltip, and Deathcoil can be used in ranks 321 now

Disease - Decomposition - is now instant, cannot be cleansed, and has many more perks/downsides - Very akin to Milkmaid
On crit - is no longer +healing, is now +20% DMG vs. blighted
Base weapon - DMG low bought up by 1 at each level
Plague Strike - Lifesteal lowered from 20% to 10%
Army of the Dead - dmg scaling changed
Plague Carrier - now has a 1 round cooldown

At another look, I see that some of my numbers were dumb.
Damage scaling on Plaguestrike reduced to flat across all levels
Vs. Blight scaling reduced heavily
Bloodboil initial dmg reduced (not that it really matters)
Army of the dead Base dmg reduced slightly. I will need to take a deeper look at code to see why it jumps so drastically on 1 corpse.
Dodge across all levels reduced by half. This is an attempt to balance his self healing. He is dead, should not be dodging. Instead take it on the chin and heal it back.

To be honest, I've seen "Army of the Dead" deal 17 non-crit damage, including one corpse. And "Plague Strike" could land 17 without trinkets. It was the 6th level of the character. If your words are correct, it is worth double-checking the character code itself. I'm not very good at modding. I hope this information will help you make this mod better. TY for the feedback.
I have not messed with the animations so that is usually indicative of either Steam failing the upload/download process, or perhaps hitting the ol' 32bit limit on your save.
How much damage are you seeing the Army of the Dead ability do on one corpse? It should only do like 5~ dmg to each target with one corpse up at level 5.
The bloodboil aoe dmg could potentially be toned down. I can see that, but its so restrictive with only hitting critical health targets I felt it was worth the slot if the aoe was good.

I think that his multi-target ability can be made weaker, because one corpse on the battlefield already allows him to deal too much damage for a multi-target. The finishing ability should not deal damage to other enemies. The main ability is too strong due to the lifesteal and the mandatory blight for other enemies. All these abilities turn the character into an overly fat damage dealer, allowing him to stay at full HP and deal a lot of damage even alone. And all this against the background of a high HP indicator and almost complete immunity to bleeding. Playing with him at a high level of the dungeon, he didn’t need third-party healing at all and he himself kept almost to full HP, and he dealt the most damage. Played with this build: Vestal, Highwayman, Leper and His Bone Majesty.
