Guess that the vanilla Dread menu doesn't automatically scale and just overlap the unit infopics at a certain point.
Ok, I'll give a check to that script and see if I can fix that.
I contacted the author of Lost & Found Beastmen: Loreful Additions and he said that you could use his script to incorporate these into the Beastmen menu seamlessly as long as you give him credit.
His mod has a scroll bar and a foundation for adding unlimited Beastmen units as long as said mods utilize his script.
I already contacted another Beastmen unit author whose mod (Monsters for Throgg (and friends)) had the same problem and said issue was fixed by using that mod's script.
Just close the pop up and keep using this mod without the Local recruitment mod.
I'll rather have the mod set to "required" even if optional since a large chunk of people don't even take the time to read the mod's description properly.
I'm positive about the fact that people would flock here sooner or later in the comment section claiming that "they can't recruit this unit with WoC for some reason" if I don't put that optional mod as required.
Yes: *even if I clearly specified that you need that optional mod with WoC in description*.
Trust me on that one.
-Removed WoC version of this unit from the Warband system
-Added the new Local Recruitment mod for WoC as new mod requirement (optional, only needed for recruiting this custom unit with WoC in campaign)
Sorry for the possible trouble generated by this update but I'll rather have my custom WoC units recruited with this method instead of cluttering the vanilla Warband System.
I have already found a replacement, but since I still need to know the shipment data and because of other shenanigans going on, I can't give you an exact ETA on when I'll be back.
You have my full permission to take and update any of my mods, but keep in my mind that I'll be back eventually and I'm going to update the OG ones.
Now I know that some of you might want to leave a comment to cheer me up or ask me some questions but please DO NOT do that and keep the comment section clean so that people can read this comment and understand why I'm not updating my stuff.
Thanks for all the support and see you again when my new rig arrives.
-This Basilisk is not mine, it was made by balrok99.
-The Preyton is also not my stuff but a ChaosRobie's mod, you must be confused there.
-I actually do have a "Chimera" model in the works but it's definitely NOT the Chimera you are talking about (you are probably wishing for the 8th edition Chaos Chimera) which would require extensive use of custom animation to look good (which I don't make and it's way above my modding skills).
-I suggest you to either ask for a Chaos Chimera to ChaosRobie (since he's already experienced with custom animations) or see if anyone with similar modding skills in Da Modding Den is interested in making Chaos Chimeras https://discord.com/invite/SvR7sbr
Cheers.
Thank you for the help. :)
Not sure if you need a new game to see the change but I can see the WoC Basilisk unit card now so it should be all good.
The unit should be located in the Arcane Vortex-Chaos Rift buildings (the one where you can also recruit forsaken, chaos spawn and feral manticore) you can also quickly check for the unit's card through the building browser if you have difficulties in finding specific units.
What specific faction where you playing? Shouldn't matter since WoC share the same building chains but It could help.
I'll check if I can replicate the issue with Archaon right now.
The custom animation was broken.
You'll either have to wait for someone else with custom animation experience to make a proper port of that mod or make a new Dwarf Phalanx mod on this workshop.
