e.g. The Free Peoples win Lorien so it gets moved to the FP scoring area. Later on the Shadow reactivates it draggin it from the scoring area back to the table. The 2 shields should be ignored.
If it fails you can simply add 2 attack tokens to the battleground
As for the starting player token being stuck, that will be fixed in the next update. Usually you can just flip the token and it becomes unstuck, or through the menu like you said.
If your drawdeck is black then you might have to re-download the mod
The Old Forest houserule removes the shield on the Old Forest Path.
The Fellbeast houserule changes the Fellbeast to allow the wielding Nazgul to move to any battleground(instead of being limited to Mordor battlegrounds)
Under the Trilogy tab you can find the Expanded (3v3) Trilogy, under the Duel tab is the Epic Duel mode. And under other scenarios you can find all of the War of the North scenarios
I didn't saw the in-game text until you pointed it out. Thanks for that. If it is possible to automate that, that would be great.
And yes, the drawing upside down is for Against the Shadow.
I also realize the Almanac is always a good source for Against the Shadow because there are cards with the same name in the bot deck. But I guess that's just is what it is. :)
- The Cross-Roads used to be bugged some time ago, but it should be fine now. I tested it and had no issues.
- Likewise, with the double army thing it should work as intended. Are you running an old version perhaps?
- The Almanac is included in the Rules bag
- Any edge cases for the auto-drawing of cards should be covered by in-game messages. Like in your examples a message should pop up instructing you to cycle cards, or to reshuffle the draw deck and draw X extra cards.
- I will have a look at the possibility of drawing shadow cards face down (for Against the Shadow I assume) Thanks!

It might be a one time bug, when it isn’t correctly registering. Placing the card on the play table and back in the scoring area might solve that. But we’m have a look 👍🏼
They are by the community yes and they van help to balance the game. The Old Forest house rule more so than the Fell Beast one. The consensus is that The Old Forest is a really weak card compared to the other 2 options on path 2 (From Shadow's perspective). When it was designed it was thought that forsakes would be a lot stronger, but it turns out that is not the case. So the houserule removes the path defense to make it bit more forgiving.
In this mod's description is a link to the WotR discord, you can find more strategies and all in there ^^ As well as teammates to play with
Anaother question: there are two house rule options. Where do they come from? Are they made up by you or is this a community consensus balance fix?
1: I am planning on adding some functionality like drawing cards etc. yes but some aspects cannot be automated like scoring BG's and paths (because the order of scoring is decided by the player)
2: I am considering it, but it will be a bit further into the future as it will be a lot work. So maybe.
3: The cards layed out in front are the Promo's. You can choose whether to add it to your deck or not.
4: The open cycle is for cards that were openly cycled and are thus public knowledge. Like cycling Bilbo to draw two cards. Is it optional though, some players prefer to play this way whilst others do not.
As for the bugs mentioned by you and @SavaKHV, they will be fixed in the next update :)
1. Are you planning on scripting it even more? Right now we have to do the drawing of cards/paths/battegrounds ourselfes right?
2. Are you planning on scripting the bot behavior of Against the Shadow expansion?
3. Why does each player have a card in front of their deck instead of in their deck at the start of the game (probably a noob question)?
- Added a setup screen where you can choose all available scenarios, including turning house rules on/off. The game will now put down all necessary components for you in the right place.
- Automated Mirror of Galadriel. When the mirror is in play, you automatically see which card is on top of your draw deck.
- Visual updates to the map, player mats and side table for a better overview.
- The score shown on the right side of your screen now also shows in brackets what the current score would be if the current Battlegrounds and Paths were included.
- Actions are now tracked in the chat, such as which cards are drawn and which cards are played.
I am not sure if any cards with those numbers exist, but I can confirm that both Against the Shadow decks have 30 cards, all belonging to the expansion.
The missing cards might be any duplicate armies like Mordor orcs, and White-hand Orcs.
Can you please check if all the cards from the expansion are present in the mod? There 60 cards for the Shadow deck in the expansion as per the rulebook but I cannot find the following ones:
* S64
* S74
* S94
* S95
* S96
* S97
Other 54 cards are present.
