This really works well as a Multiplayer introduction for someone, its like a facade town, a few residential buildings, some 4 military tents full of supplies, a huuuge police station and a big fire department, plus all the commercial buildings, all this for a population of like 10 residential homes, gives you access to a lot of resources with little effort, I guess it makes sense for a server event, not much else, doesnt feel real.
Must review this, hope it will be corrected in v2
It is 21,36 if someone else looks for it
Personally, if its just a map for learning how the tools work, I'd scrap it once you've gotten a hold of things then work on something else - so you have a clean slate and aren't just trying to fix things.
Um, though as a request from someone who has lots of map mods installed - there's loads of these compact little town mods out there that have one of every zone type (military, police, fire department, etc). A town that had as most as you'd expect from a rural village (I see hardly any mods that add farmland...) would certainly break up hitting yet another place with guaranteed loot. :)
...But that may be what you want for a multiplayer server.
Maybe include more low and high fences - about the homes and commercial buildings. Where are the alleys for shops to leave their rubbish or take deliveries?
The park could maybe do with a gravel path around it, as right now it looks more like a wilderness area in the middle of town. I'd stick a path with benches / bins, toilets, a bandstand, etc about that. And maybe make the lake smaller so its more of a pond - as it does look out of place with how boxed in it is by roads. Maybe add a fence about it too. Or have a short dead end road leading into the park area for easier commercial / parks vehicle access.
Design wise I see you were trying to go with something compact, but at least the layout's still dispersed. Though it does seem to be orientated around main roads - rather than having buildings that're on their own dead end roads in places. Dead ends and a more random layout does mean that players take longer exploring - instead of just zooming down a few main roads and seeing everything worth looting quickly.
The fuel station's placement seems a bit odd in the corner there. Those're usually on the main road. Maybe stick it closer to the Giga Mart - as that would generate out of town traffic.
Similarly the hospital's placement right in the middle seems off - usually those would have a large car park and space to expand.
