I thought about this question. Best for using the flashlight in other modes, the "HD Customizer" mod is suitable. There is a suitable device. But I did not contact the author of this mod, Z3RO C001, on this issue.

Anyway to have the flashlight effect apply to weapons without the use of the equipment? Would be great to use this in other game modes too.

I didn't consider reloading. The flashlight itself is an easy cheat, and I specifically developed the mechanics for limiting use. And so you can turn off the discharge of the flashlight. But for this you need to open to make changes to the logic of the flashlight charge. Then maybe I'll come up with some kind of device for recharging the flashlight.

im assuming there isnt a way to recharge the light?
