@valentijn78 Fixed that bug - now they are able to feed on Artificial Hemogen packs but will only do so when there are no normal Hemogen packs available for them to feed on.

This mod cured my ingrown fingernails! Just wish the hemogen category had an icon instead of a missing texture. Keep up the good work!

This mod's a lifesaver when stuck with too many suckers in my colony :D

One minor problem: the amount of artificial hemogen that sanguophages will eat seems to depend on food hunger rather than blood hunger. So sometimes they'll only eat one pack at a time if they're full, and other times they'll eat too many packs if they're very hungry for food.

And they generally only eat it if I force them too, even when they're experiencing hemogen starvation.

No worries. I found out what it was. I think when I first made the mod I didn't add that setting until the end and forgot to implement it for the blood transfusion, but I've fixed it and will get it uploaded shortly!

The bug which still exists is that the setting "Bloodloss heal amount" doesn't apply to the amount of blood loss healed by Operation "Hemogen medicine blood transfusion".

It does apply to the logic of determining how many hemogen medicines to pick up and use for the operation. For example it will try to use 2 to cure 95% bloodloss when set to 0.5, or 5 when set to 0.2. However the amount healed by this operation is always 35% per hemogen medicine used.

By the way, it seems like this mod is doing fine in 1.5.

The only bug I noticed, which might also be in 1.4, is that that the "Hemogen Medicine Blood Transfusion" doesn't obey the mod settings.

The side-effect-of-tending-with-hemogen-medicine does obey the mod settings.

Can you set MedicalPotency/MedicalQualityMax to something like 1.05? This is an upgrade of industrial medicine in terms of resources, so it should be just as good as it for its basic function, I feel. The extra 0.05 is just so that it appears on a tier above when using Mod Medicine Patch .

Artificial blood packs, too! This is awesome, absolutely adding this to my (horrifically bloated) setup! Just not sure about that dog with afro. He looks a bit tired.

@ProfileName Artificial hemogen has been added! It tastes gross but it can be used to craft hemogen medicine. While it can be consumed to replenish hemogen, everyone considers it gross tasting and it doesn't replenish as much hemogen as regular hemogen packs.
