Riker says, " Smooth as an androids bottom eh Data" after just shaving his face, to which data reaches out and rubs his face, then half smiles and shakes his head, "Nope"
HAHAHHAHHAHHAHA
am i the only one hot in here?
Final thoughts, If you notice even my Large Landmasses are Split apart. This was to stop established Nations from fighting, while I was working on others. Also make sure you turn off armies and diplomacy or any other fighting, turn off aging, needing food, harmful animals, pretty much everything should be off while youre working. To ensure Nations dont grow or die off. I figured people can always connect the land if they want.
And that should be it, This Def took me a minute to type, but figuring all that isht out took even longer, LOL so I hope this helps.
To continue, While paused, take the spawn island, with its new nation, and connect it to the place you want to send them. (NOTE: I do most of this work in "PAUSE MODE" Once you want to move a group you need to put it in "PLAY" Regular Slowest Speed.)
Now it begins, Let the nation expand, an help them to expand onto the land where you want them to end up, Part of this, is to Use your FINGER BRUSH and start shaving the territory down, in the direction you want them to be pushed. ei. If you want them in the Southeast, Start shaving off land in the Northwest, and push them into position. Be careful to always leave one square of territory available. Note make sure you have houses and such if you intend to break a Camp Fire. And you should be good.
EVEN MORE IMPORTANT TO NOTE:this is how much land and soil is needed to spawn a nation, however the Large plop size itself, is the EXACT smallest size needed for a humanoid to place a CAMP FIRE to claim a nation. Meaning you CANNOT elongate a Spawn Island into a thin strip that has no stretch Wide enough to build the campfire on. There must always be a circular grouping AT LEAST the size of the large brush to place the campfire down. This is your tightest restriction.
Now,
Put Seed, Put Trees, Spawn in New Nation.
Now lets talk about moving the Whole Territory, This will be the last part,
First lets say you want to add a tiny spot like my maps "the Arabian Peninsula" or "Japan" or "Ireland" those spots were all too small, and The Peninsula was even pinned between other larger nations, SOO, You make your Extra large plop of forest soil, you make your Large Plop, then connect them out in the ocean( Now its good to note, if the ocean is not very wide, you may need to oblong the shape to cover the same amount of ground, but at least seeing the size of an Extra large Plop of FOREST SOIL and its Large Plop Buddy, you can have a frame of land size to adjust from.)
Next, For tiny spots and additions to the main areas, ei. little islands and such. First you will need the Forest Soil Brush, then you need this knowledge," The exact size for a spawn to pop IS, Take the FOREST SOIL BRUSH-Extralarge-Circle Brush setting, Poke a single circular plop down, then Take the LARGE-Circle Brush setting, Poke a single Plop of this down, right next to but not touching the Extra large Plop. Connect them with a tiny land bridge, cover them in JUNGLE SEED, Plant trees on them. Et Viola, the smallest piece of land that will spawn a nation"
Now you can use this knowledge to spawn in addition nations in the surrounding areas or waters of any map. BUT AND NEXT !!!
If you have alot of land. then simply spawn in one group near where you want them to be. Now you need to be aware, that the Finger Brush, set to the Tiny Square setting, when pressed but not dragged, can push a single square of territory out of the way, Using this you can adjust the borders exactly where you want them within reason, ei. you cannot push territory off of a building, only open claimed land. This is how you can drop in a bunch of nations on one piece of land and adjust their borders. Dont like where a specific building happens to be either, You can demolish the building in the way, even the main camp fire(AS LONG as there is enough territory and buildings left to sustain the nation while they move the camp fire to a new spot somewhere else in their territory. If they keep trying to place it back in the same spot, block it with a stone.)
Now for the Process,
ALWAYS, I repeat, ALWAYS, start from the Center. Its impossible using this method to inject a nation in between others. Its all about expanding the land and then shrinking it. Let me explain.
mrpiggles05, I asked the exact same question once to a creator, they never responded, so I will do my best to answer you. This may be long, bare with me, there are some things to understand.
NOTE:A- you will want to do most of this work in "PAUSE MODE" Un-pausing only to spawn in a nation or to move them.
First, the game wants a certain amount of space to spawn in, a certain amount of fertile soil and a certain amount of trees, I have perfected this amount.
Second, lets identify some parts, You may know them but I am doing this so we are identifying them to the same exact degree and name value. To put us on the same page.
Mostly, You will be using the "forest soil brush" and the "finger brush".
Note: there are four brush styles, Circle Square Diamond Splatter. We will stick to Circle and Square.
Note2: there are five brush sizes, Lets call them Tiny Small Medium Large Extralarge.
The color that pops up for the nation, Lets call that the Territory.
