Tilea, Estalia, Border Princes and New World Colonies needs updating, they are empire, but ally builds are white banner, their agents are NOT recruitable

did some checking with other factions, empire seems to be fine, the UI dosent bug out, but all other factions i checked, brettonia and kislev are buggin out in the UI

I don't know what went wrong. On 6.21, the bugs during the 18th faction's turn in the first round.

removed all other mods and checked, dosent seem to be caused by mod conflict

I do get access to hero types I would not usually get, I get engineers as Dark Elves, sometimes the tab is just a blank name with heroes from allies I could not usually get. But yes all of them are in white boxes and when they are bunched up, like int he case of caster (since there are so many) it becomes hard to read them or see what ones are available. Not seeing heroes that are not available or will never be would be great, but even better would be the lack of white boxes.

Love the mod, been working hard to steal foreign heroes for a long time. Noticed two issues - I too see the white boxes floating around all hero and lord toggle buttons, with only this mod active. Did a little investigation - I think the heroes that are divided out into the 6 different tab categories will only ever spawn for the hero types your faction possesses, even if you have the capacity to recruit them. For example, Chaos Dwarfs have three (plus legendary class for Gordaz), so only foreign heroes spawn of those types (mages, melee tanks, engineer class etc). So as of now, you'll only have access to heroes that spawn in similar types to the heroes of your faction. This is why Dwarves can't recruit mage-category types. Skaven for example have 5 different types of heroes, so they'll have access to almost all types of foreign heroes that will spawn for options). Again, love the mod, just posting my observations.

I am looking at screenshot 2 and I get more than twice that and all surrounded by big white boxes.

wonder what I am missing here, I don't just get a long line of cluttered icons at the top of the hero screen but they are all surrounded in a white box that makes reading them even harder. I would love to see all the heroes I can not get just not showing or another tab for them. The white boxes though I am not sure where that is coming from

Yeah playing as Isabella the other night in a co-op I ended up getting a waystalker after unlocking a new hero. Pretty funny.

I'm not sure if it's your mod exactly but it feels like it... When the changling gets their random event of requiting a new cultist of tzeentch it seems to instead give me a random hero that would fill that role. I've gotten a vampire pirate (Deeps) and just now a priest of sigmar. please don't 'fix' this because it's hilarious and rather on theme but thought it would be good to share this happy accident.

should be working fine now. Tested Bretonnia and Cathay and all foreign agents are working with proper arts.

Many many model conflicts, even vanilla heroes like Astromancers are effected, models were altered to Skin Wolves, their unit cards became default spear goblins

Hi, I'm not sure what it is but the overbundance of buttons seems to hide some of the heroes that would be available normally. i.e. as an HE I don't see the tab to recruit mages.

@Master Zwerg It keeps showing that there is a new hero joining the recruit pool for the next turn, but I can't see the character for the next turn

For some reason this mod crashes my game when I end my turn and one of the ai factions does something that freezes and crashes.

I *really* wish we could disable ally agents like we can with Lords. Ugh. Trying to find my own dang wizards is pure hell with the tiny icons....

Only graphical issue I encountered was for hiring a prophetess, replaced with the VC vampire lady as usual. Just use Variant Selector to change them back to the correct model.

Hags (From Kislev DLC) didn't seem to benefit from my wizard buff, so they all started at level 1 (when I can recruit level 30 wizards fresh).

Still one of the best mods in existence. Getting to play with more foreign units and heroes is awesome. Why pair a master engineer with a empire captain when you can get a Dragon Slayer from the Slayer King himself? Sure, the new Empire Engineer is fun, but how about a dawi engineer to show you how its supposed to be done?

any plan to make it work with SFO? I saw the comment that it worked, but I've been trying to, but it suspiciously crashed 2 turns after installation. Of course, that may have just been the normal WW3 instability

I am playing as Arbaal and cannot seem to get the foreign heroes to appear. I have created an alliance with the Beastmen, and they have built an outpost in my capital. Their generals appear if I enable that option on MCT, but there are no Beastmen heroes to be recruited in the recruitment pool. The only other hero mods I am running are Mixu and Legendary Characters. Do you know what I could be doing wrong? This mod always used to work flawlessly and I think I have done the same thing as before.

you activated a mod that added content you literally cannot have normally Kellogs, you cannot start a game that is that heavily modded without said mod. if you want to, you would need to get rid of every Agent that doesn't belong to their faction normally, so for example: if Karl has a Bratonian Agent, or Katarina has an Empire Agent? you would need to delete them from your game, or the campaign breaks.

it would be no different to you installing a mod that added in a unique unit to your race of choice. at that point, you would need to start over. it just doesn't work without it.

After using this for a while i wanted to disable it because of too many graphic glitches but i cant start the Game anymore without this mod activated (literally the game not continuing a campaign). Any Idea why?

This mod causes various kinds of graphical glitches when combined with mods that add custom heroes and custom lords.

It fiddles with the "Is Male" value in the campaign_character_art_sets_tables for some of the agents (Mixu's Drekla, a custom legendary hero for Luthor Harkon, is one of them) and changes that value so that it matches with neither the mod entry for that agent NOR the vanilla agent entry that the custom hero/lord was based off.

It is one of few values that you should ALMOST ALWAYS leave as it is in the vanilla tables, because things get wonky otherwise.


In short; a thorough perusal is needed in campaign_character_art_sets_tables files, and compare the "Is Male" value there with what it is in vanilla or the mod that a custom hero comes from.

For me, the mod started working correctly only in the new campaign. In the save-game, the heroes for hire simply do not appear, although the game does not crash on end turn.
