Hello Sir, I found a funny bug that let's me confederate the whole world in the first round as High Elves.
Reproducer (only this mod was enabled):
1. Open the intrigue window -> normal costs displayed for all the options
2. Close window again
3. Open the intrigue window again -> now everything costs 5 or 11 points but even if I don't have the points needed I can still do everything, in my case confederate everyone :)

After I confederated a faction I have to start from 1. as the costs returned to the actual values.

I counter checked that its not possible with the Vanilla game

updated to work for the empire, it was broken (but it wouldn't break your game) since whatever patch they added the new mechanic to them

I'm currently not able to get this working as how it used to either alas. Though i'm not getting any scripting errors or the red X in-game.

I restarted the game without any other mods other than this one, but it doesn't work at all.

Hey Nalier, can you describe in more detail what you did? It looked to me like it wasn't a simple table change but the entire UI control was new with different options and layout.

Did the Thrones of Decay DLC break this mod? I've been trying to get the mod working, but no matter what I do, the Machinations screen does not alter from its vanilla appearance.

I dug deeper into the files and from what I can tell, with that DLC, the Electoral Machinations screen was reorganized and its even a different UI component than the original "intrigue_panel." Now it seems to be launching a new UI component called "dlc25_electoral_machinations" with two subscreens inside it: Emperor's Decrees and Diplomatic Talks. "Diplomatic Talks" is the subscreen that needs to be changed now.

Didn't see anyone talking about this, and thought I'd drop my findings here!

I suppose the proper question is, but will you? I've been looking at doing it for personal use, but I cannot figure out which parts of the script that connect to which parts of the effect. It's too cleverly written. xD

Do you know any mod that doesn't allow the player have defensive alliance?

I don't like being in defensive and military alliance with anyone so I'm looking for a mod that allows that.

I see some comments talking about a crash when you open the Electoral Machinations panel. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the mod Solland since the panel opens with Solland selected. Or with Improved Ui mod. Less red more art maybe. I dunno what causes it.

I'm experiencing the same crash. When I reload the game it's gone for that time, but I do have to say. It happens pretty often. Often enough to get irritated by the bug. :)

Thanks to @Deadmeat 's two comments I downloaded Rpfm and after following the install guide I was able to simply and easily make the changes he described and it worked perfectly. Don't be daunted, its far less complex then you would think.

I did update the incidents_tables\@pj_emp_intrigue myself so its a th3 version, so if yours still doesn't work try that.

Here's how to fix it yourself - I'm not going upload my version as its not my mod:

Open Rpfm, expand script/campaign
rename script/campaign/wh3_main_combi to script/campaign/cr_oldworld

Maybe tell us which mods this doesn't work with, why should we have to work it out when you can see the game files. It working in a vacuum is next to useless. How am I supposed to know which scripts don't work with others?

@uncle , try using the Mod Manager that was also created by prop joe, it will help to better sort your mods automatically and reduce the possible CTD to minimum, i was having same problems before i installed it , and was caused for wrongs load order (derived from vainilla launcher that might work funky some times)
