Oh sorry,I misunderstood what you meant,that's my fault.
if you want recruit daemon princes when playing as daemons of chaos,you should edit "Faction_agent_perminent_subtype_tables",I'm not sure why it doesn't work if you have edited it.
For me I just clone 5 "wh3_dlc20_chs_sigvald"(faction key) rows and change it to "wh3_main_dae_daemon_prince",then it works.

Oh i saw and did that already in RPFM. went to the text file and changed it to english names. but maybe i did something wrong there? i mean all i did was change the names of the tabs from Chinese to English
That said i had also gone to the "Faction_agent_perminent_subtype_tables" and sawthere were no daemon prince made available to the "wh3_main_dae_daemon_prince" faction. only the exalted daemons. so i added those 5 lines, and even that didn't work
any thoughts? was there another step for localizing i missed?

No,you're not missing anything,it just because I give them a Chinese localization,and in English it won't be displayed,you can see why from the comment below

the option/tab for recruit daemon princes doesn't seem to be appearing for me, is there an element to this i might be missing? (playing daemons of chaos)

Actually it doesn't need a Localization(the vanilla game already has them).You may not see daemon prince's category when recruit it,because in vanilla setting,all of them are in one same recruitment category,and when you recruit them,you need to choose which magic lore you want like recruit a caster,but khorne daemon prince has no magic lore,so you couldn't recruit it at all.I create 5 new recruitment categories for daemon prince to avoid it so that you can recruit khorne daemon prince,but the new recruitment category need new text,so all you need to do is just open my mod and edit 5 text files as you want.It doesn't matter if you don't want do it,there will have localization to the lord you recruit.

Is there English Localization to this, be it built-in or in a patch?

When you say Chaos Factions, do you mean all Daemons of Chaos or is it Daemons of Chaos & Warriors of Chaos (Siggy, Archeon, Kholek)??? Sorry if it seems a bit daft question like lol

updated.But there is a problem yet,exalted bloodthirster and daemon prince can't equip arcane items(same as vanilla),expanded item x3 mod edit them as casters to make them could equip arcane items,I don't think khorne could be allowed to equip them.If you want them could equip arcane items,open my mod and edit "agent_subtypes_tables" and tick "Is Caster"

Can you please make it compatible with expanded item x3 mod?
