@Dietrich: Yep, I gave full permission to include my work. I'm also part of the dev team as of the most recent modules release so we should have plenty more coming out down the line

Did you give the other mod of "Grimworld Hammer of the Imperium" permission to use the art of this mod in theirs? Because I noticed after taking a second look at it that it uses the same artwork as your own 40k mods.

@Hykal: The lasguns and carbines do 15 Damage with 56% AP, the Lucious, Longlas and Hellgun do 25 Damage with 76% AP and the laspistols do 10 Damage with 40% AP.

@Halcyon: That's because the lasguns do Burn damage and mechanoids have 200% Heat Armor. Personally I'd recommend either getting a mod to lower mechanoid Heat Armor or changing the lasguns to do 'Bullet' damage.

word of advice, lasguns do absolutely nothing to mechanoids, they just plow through it, so if you're planning on running an imperial guard playthrough, either pray or get another mod to handle them, because your flashlight wont save you.

think the hellgun defaults to a single shot weapon. should have a decent burst fire instead since i don't think rimworld does automatic fire. also personally, idk about the damage these weapons do. like, lasguns do hit hard. don't think they'd just sorta lightly burn a target like vwel has them do.

@yes0rpg since this mod is not CE compatible, you have to either look for a patch or ask the CE Team.

I just tested this mod, everything looks fine except some weapons do not show ammo count and fire mode selection when I draft a pawn equipt with long las, hell gun and Locke mk1 (I am running CE).is it possible to fix this problem? thanks.

The guns seem very inaccurate. Much more than the chances are saying. I love them and they hit pretty hard, but it seems like even my shooting 20 pawn with accuracy enhancing implants takes forever to actually hit the intended enemy.

seems like it was a fluke, after disabling the mods and loading them anew it works now as intended
I am a little confused as why those are under pulse arms and not laser but it works now

@Tactical Drongo - They shouldn't be craft-able until charge weapons have been researched. If you have access to them without it then that's a bug. Can you confirm it's not a mod conflict? I haven't seen anyone else mention it and I haven't encountered that during testing

I think you should gate these behind technologies fitting their rough power tier and not just have them craftable as soon as you got the tool bench

@LINX - That's an error on my end, I simply forgot to write one up for the Hellgun before uploading, it'll be fixed in the next update. I have a lot I'm working on right now so it may be some time before I loop back around to lasgun updates though

One suggestion tho: Could you maybe make the guns larger? The guns look really small when pawns with bulky armors equip them.

@KRONAS - Yes, I'm planning on a full re-balance of the weapons once my current WIP is done. I'm hoping to tackle the issue of the lasguns not being effective against insectoids, fix some incorrect tags making the weapons spawn on tribal merchants etc. and re-balance the damage and fire rate of everything to make more sense when compared to my autogun pack

@Nando it works with CE thanks to their autopatcher, though they work more effectively as tasers that mostly down a pawn rather than a lethal weapon that tears limbs off and kills

@Bitcoin Barry - Most likely not, this mod was developed after 1.4 and uses VWEL as a dependency. If VWEL works on 1.3 then maybe but I'm unsure

@Nando - I think someone released a fork of my mod on Github, I don't know if that'd be compatible with the CE patch but you could try it until the patch gets updated. Maintaining multiple pages for each of my weapon mods would take too much dev time out of making new mods unfortunately so thats not really a viable option

@Nando - That's likely a result of the new added weapons in the update. The CE patches aren't made or maintained by myself so unfortunately I can't give an ETA on when that will be resolved. apologies if that caused any issues for you, hopefully it'll be fixed soon
