gotcha, sorry I assumed. Small request but is it possible to make the enviromental sounds clear? Like remove the audio effect of muffled sounds from the armor.

I put more work Into the MJOLNIR then the ORION . I didn't rush them and ORION doesn't let you go Diving without the techsuit. Which is the same for MJOLNIR.

I don't know if you are dealing with a bug or glitch. Or confusing it with something else.

Also none of them do anymore. They did in the past but I was experimenting without it. That way players might still the the other scanning items.

Found out how to get it working, but it feels like you rushed MJOLNIR and worked on ORION a lot more, since ORION seemingly allows you to go diving while MJOLNIR lets you get crushed by water pressure.

The mercs not showing up in the rooster are a game issue. Currently can't be fixed but they are still added and in you crew you can order them to do things by "Shift+Right Click" on them. Not the most ideal but it works.

I'm currently setting up the discord so I'll update the page when it's done. I do have a bug, glitches, errors discussion in this mods discussions. You can post them there.

They can't spawn with gear. Baro has a glitch where if edit their character/creature spawn inventory, they will be spawning with it every round (as in if I spawn them with a pistol they will spawn a new one every round, alongside the old one).
And there is a bug where if I spawn them via npc prefabs (The things used for spawning specific npcs, like Security, Artie Dolittle, etc) they spawn in as humans that just look like the species.
And you find out quickly when your grunt changes into a human when they get attacked by the flood or husks.

Looks like all of the plasma weapons are not in the OG fabricator. How do I gain access to the Covenant fabricator?

The covenant melee doesn't unlock all of the energy swords, and the small plasma weapons never unlocked either. Might be missing some weapon recipes from the fabricator too, though Im not too sure.

They are supposed to be used at the Forerunner Fabricator however I see I forgot to update where you craft the fabricator itself so I'll get it fixed. Ill check and fix Blamite

Quick question, where are the forerunner blueprints supposed to show we have been unable to find just about any of it, bc we cant find it in any of the Fabs, ? Also blamite produces a error in the log lol.

The covenant do pilot enemy submarines yes. I'm still working on creating custom subs. There have been a few game issues (hardcoded) that have delayed faction bases. Still working on a bit of a workaround for that but the Covenant are there

Hey everyone so good and bad news.

Good news the big update is going well, it will be a big QOL update as well as adding in a lot of new content. Ofc I will be fixing lots of bugs and I will start adding photos and gifs to show off some of the new things.

Bad news is it's going to take longer then expected. There's a bug with npcs being added via npc prefabs causes the game to register then as human. They look the part but the scale will be smaller which sounds minor expect it's also with afflictions. Nothing quite like seeing a grunt turn into a flood human when infected by the flood. This is slowing down the factions update. If I still struggle I might release a mid way update just so that all the bugs, glitches and such are fixed.

Also I am currently without a job and working to get one. Which is also slowing development. I will be working on this and all of my other mods ofc but it will be somewhat slower.

I haven't seen any flood either, it was just a new game. Don't worry too much. I am sure your mod works as its supposed to be c:

Ill double check the encounters. You should have random underwater ghosts, banshees, maybe some banished underwater suits and the like showing up. You have been getting the flood correct?
Have you gotten any of the other creatures?

Oh sorry for not being clear enough.

I meant as in "I don't really see any halo related items as i've played a few missions." So i was just curious as to what was implemented that you can 'organically' find during your play time instead of crafting them.

Well currently the game has Banished showing up in random encounters. So do the Forunner constructs and Prometheans. As well as missions with pirates/bandits showing up (custom subs are still W.I.P).
Are the creatures/encounters and missions not showing up for you outside of the flood?

Faction wise the Banished, UNSC (maybe the Storm Covenant) are planned for the future. I'm currently fixing weapon and armor balance. Testing new shields and looking into how to setup faction spawns. As well as making sure armor/clothes can only be worn by it's proper species, adding a few more types.

I'm not sure what you mean by "all the gear, items" Are there specific items you'd like to see? Or any buildings types? I currently have Mjolnir 5 to 7 (working on adding Mark Vi, and updating the prototype armor.) I'm still working on figuring out other armors, and clothes.

Right now everything seems, well. Barren, except for the 'unknown faction'. And the husks for flood? The rest is more or less 'craft it and roleplay it' type deal.

@NANO as Cortana, first thought that comes to mind is being a class. A sort AI or character that is partially transparent with maybe some restrictions to what they can do. Halo has always had different AI, be interesting to see at least some version of it implemented.

I'm not making playable elites for a long time. Making class trees are going to be a large undertaking.
As for the flood, the re-skin is a no go, and the other one is a plant (which is what I thought it would be). I could try make it just do a spore burst for some of the pure forms, but still not sure how to make them react to people.

Both are on the backfoot as I'm currently working on updating/balancing broken mods
