On a technicality, the last mission in Reach had a couple boss fights. I think it was either the missions "The Package" or "The Pillar of Autumn", but there's a room with lots of elites (I think rangers and field marshals) before you exit to an outside area. There's lots of stairs inside a large garage or something with 2 floors. Technically the devs made that room a "boss fight". That area on legendary sucked. I died many, many times.

The boss fight seemed to come to a standstill after the sequence with the mini rats that shoot green lasers.
