Just gave this a small patch. Scrap Upgrade UI Framework is now included, so that is no longer a dependency. I improved some UI image and text related to the Gyrocarriers, applied a wide array of stat nerfs, though I am sure not enough, and resolved a bunch of trivial errors RPFM was reporting. Iron Colossus of Nuln is next for rejuvination.

Okay, I finally have WH3 reinstalled and the burnout may be better. I see now that Bagholder has given permission for modders to package that scrap extension directly, with credit, so I'm going to do that and remove the dependency.

it's when you're in the world map. You select the army the unit is in, select the carrier, and there should be an option in the UI for you to select an upgrade similar to the scrap upgrade UI that you would see for the greenskins.

Hello! As a long-time enjoyer of Dawi Thunder I was wondering if there have been any updates or work-arounds that might make it possible to add different ammunition types to war machines like there used to be? The breaker cannons used to hit different when they had the separate options lol.

Have recently been playing around with Dawi Gunpowder units and noted that there's a ranger unit there that is able to switch between rifle rounds and grudge-raker rounds, although the system might be different for war machines since Thrones of Decay, so understand if that's not possible.

Anyway, thank you very much for the work you do in keeping this mod updated, it makes when I do come back to WH3 much more enjoyable!

Finally, I feel perhaps to help with its usage...it needs to be built on a platform that is much TALLER, can rotate a bit QUICKER and also have an ammo type where it can become rune charged and cause AOE damage to "large" groups of slightly smaller units, on the drawback of lower initial damage.

It just really feels that when it hits something...it doesn't really hit as hard as it looks like it should. Just my feedback :).

After extensive testing with this, I have some feedback specific to the Thunder Cannon. In short, it dramatically UNDER PERFORMS unfortunately.

Main issues are it's firing arc is too low, so on an AWFUL lot of maps it simply can't be positioned properly. The projectile fired is too slow, which would be fine...if when it hit it's target it caused the target to perhaps be dazed, stunned, or have a huge speed debuff. I'm not sure if it's possible instead to make the cannonball fire much faster and add significant knockback, knockdown, paralyses effects etc. Even on massive easy to hit single entities it doesn't do it's job better than gunners could or other units in this pack...especially as it can still miss its shot!

I think I may have found a bug. I can't seem to recruit sappers or quarry clearers after upgrading the required building to its highest tier.

@Snek, is it okay if I release a version of this mod that cuts down on a few of the units? I'm planning a dwarf campaign with a friend and we just want to use a few of the units listed here

For people who wanted to know how to use the gyrocarriers.

You first need to select what kind of unit you want to be carried via scrap option. (cos of 6.0, another mod needs to be added)
When you are in the battle, all you need to do is land the ship where ever and then just click the unit symbol on the bottom left side and select location near the carrier like you would summon with any other faction.
Once that done you can lift up and enjoy mayhem.
On siege battles, you first gotta breach the walls, either through wall or gate to be able to drop your troops inside the walls.

I would advise waiting. I plan to push updates for everything after 6.0.2 tomorrow. I've learned since 3.0 to wait on the hot fix patches to update my workshop.

The Gyrocycle Dwarfs t-posing after dying is a known issue and actually the thing holding up the Chaos Dwarf version. They have what should be the right animation slots but the t-posing remains.

Yeah, some modpack claimed itself has this mod build within but actually without the newest updates. Putting the mod higher solved the t-posing problem and battle animation is good to play, but the unit seems has no corpses, just dwarves standing right there, doesn't that much matter to me though.

Damn, that's way off. Their projectile was a copy of the statline of a base game blunderbuss, but I forget which one. I'll recopy their projectile in case some odd projectile value got changed since then.

Getting some weird results when using silversteel thunderers wherethey perform poorly comparing to both regular thunderers and shotguns. I get ~217% more damage on average using regular thunderers (data gathered from 37 IM battles). Silversteel thunderers just stand there with their subpar range and when they fire they hit like wet towel slaps:cranialtchotchke:

Does forcing a refresh by resubbing help anything? Your not using the standalone Gyrocycles on top of this?

Gyrocycles keeps t-posing under the motorcycle, don't know what may cause it, already shut down every mod could alter the dawi models and it doesn't help.
