Just me randomly stumbling upon this and laughing my ass off at the idea of a wooden log moving through a pipe
Scorpio 23 Jun, 2024 @ 12:44pm
is this abandoned?
Them8 20 Apr, 2024 @ 10:42pm
is there a way to get wood out of the network?
Dax 14 Apr, 2024 @ 5:11pm
Compatibility for Medieval Overhaul? I mean, this mod seems great at sprinkling in unique medieval futurism.

So... Uh sorry the idea of this mod confused me there for a sec. So uh is there anyway to use this with a bio-refiner to automate making chemfual?
Yolsos 21 Aug, 2023 @ 3:59pm
Any chance for a subterranean wood pipe?

Also, here's an idea: an electric version (if you are willing to add features). Basically, the electric one doesn't need wood as fuel, allowing it to be more efficient!

And, maybe an advanced one that the hoper does store 1 stack of wood, and can pull from shelves! Or, just make an advanced one that can pull from stacks. That way, you can do lots of hauling, then be done for a while!

Wood can be tricky to have in large quantities, any chance of a coal version?
Vartarhoz 13 Mar, 2023 @ 1:41am
Jokes on you this is awesome for Royalty braziers.
Haruhya 16 Feb, 2023 @ 9:51am
Very nice.

I think theres a bug or some weird issue with this mod, or maybe pipe networks in general. When i have a network set up, the wood in the tank will always stay at 1499.400 or some other decimal out of 1500. i have a bank of wood fueled generators linked up to them, and theres wood in the wood drains adjacent too the wood hoppers, but the wood fueled generators keep running forever, wood in the tank never goes down, and wood is never consummed from the wood drains next to the wood pulper.

can we have underground wood pipes?

Hey, just wanted to say that this is a really fun mod. It's not a joke to me though, I have a 11kw wood pellet burner as central heating in my house that gets supplied through a pipe system from the 4 ton wood pellet storage. The pellets are sucked through the pipes by an turbine driven air stream.

It works great. Very reliable, storage gets filled about every 15 months by a tank truck, the pellet burner has a storage that lasts about a day so the loud turbine only goes on 3 min once a day. Apart from having to clear the ash box every 2-3 months its a completely automatic system.

@userrr3
Fixed, it's now under Smithing

@Mk1
I couldn't find the name of that item

> I want this mod to be used in medieval playthroughs, since nothing in this mod requires or produces electricity:)

I was trying to do something like that but it seems the buildings are locked behind the "Biofuel Refining" research, which also requires the Electricity research.
Is this intentional? Would it be possible to make this a separate, medieval-level research?
Mk1 1 Jan, 2023 @ 8:48am
Could I request a little change? Im using Medieval overhaul and I want the wood drain to be able to accept raw wood, pls.
Blutdrachen 23 Dec, 2022 @ 6:40am
Would be cool if you use the wood in the system for other things like paper and or book crafting.
thesoupiest 6 Dec, 2022 @ 8:08am
This is definitely one of the Rimworld mods ever
Kokorocodon 6 Dec, 2022 @ 3:17am
This brings me a feeling, a very wierd one.
Splinty 5 Dec, 2022 @ 4:10am
can it work with medieval mod ?
Lilith 4 Dec, 2022 @ 9:52am
why isn't there a wood tap, the tap is needed as an alternative to the stockpile, or else pawns cannot automatically withdraw wood from the system at all, unless you extract the wood yourself.
Scorpio 3 Dec, 2022 @ 6:35pm
thanks for the fix a request if i may : subterranean wood pipes?
also icon to deconstruct wood pipes is missing
Alexis Popcorn  [author] 3 Dec, 2022 @ 2:17pm
Yeah, already fixed it, should work fine now, sorry for that, I was very sleepy xd
Scorpio 3 Dec, 2022 @ 6:18am
@Pheace can confirm that error its this mod
Pheace 3 Dec, 2022 @ 5:51am
I think after the last update this caused my architect menu to not work.

The error log seemed to refer to DubsMintMenu but also to a PipeSystem.ResolvedAllowedDesignators_Patch.Postfix and something from labelled floors (I think), but neither of those mods recently updated. Removing this mod seemed to fix it.

Honestly, with how wood stack up late-game, this might be a super convenient mod.
ALE199 2 Dec, 2022 @ 8:59am
also you could change the lore a bit to something like "Makes Wood into Wood Gas" or stuff like that since Wood Gas is something that exist but that's just flavour
ALE199 2 Dec, 2022 @ 8:58am
the only thing I'd ask if the pipes would be made out of Metal instead of wood, other then that I'd say this mod is perfect!
germnbarb 1 Dec, 2022 @ 7:40pm
This is something that I feel is going to be a convenience I didn't know I wanted until I saw it.
HIM 1 Dec, 2022 @ 2:58pm

nice mod ~
Avericat 1 Dec, 2022 @ 3:12am
I have had this idea for years but never put the work to do it. Does it succesfully reduce refueling lag in lategame pre-electricity runs?
Sarg Bjornson 1 Dec, 2022 @ 12:59am
Why are you using Chemfuel as a dependency? The pipe code is on the VE Framework
Bonible 30 Nov, 2022 @ 11:20pm
The forests will never look the same after installing this mod.
DisKorruptd 30 Nov, 2022 @ 10:41pm
ok but like... I kinda wanna have one of these sitting in a room next to a bunch of my LWM wood storages
