Hi, im getting these errors whilst doing mechanics, not to sure why, nothing seems to be affected by these errors though.

This mod lets you copy paste the errors directly from screen- not sure what that guy's issue is.

The error button appears? If you're in debug mode it's always active. Otherwise, an error needs to occur first.

B42 + MUAS is installed, can't seem to open the Error Window and see what's wrong.

If your switch to B42 is recent, there is now a required mod.

I assume since you've had the mod since B41 that steam didn't trigger any prompt to install the requiredment.

I'm on B42. I am currently trying to uninstall all mods and reinstall them again, unfortunately I have not found another solution. There was 1 mod that was updated Repair overhaul and the rain guns mod I installed later

Did you add any other mods, didn't any other mods update? This mod hasn't been updated recently.

Are you on B42 or B41?

Actually yes, this mod was working yesterday. Today I installed B42 Rain's Firearms & Gun and even though the error magnifier mod is installed and active it doesn't work, now I deleted the Rain weapon mod but it still doesn't work

The UI only appears when errors occur.

Some errors don't register to the system. It could also be something else is wrong. Are you sure the mod is active?

Also, maybe you have a mod that is conflicting.

Some types of errors don't get added to the game's error list. Error Magnifier pulls the error information from the game.
I just enabled this mod, currently i have errors on Fancy Handwork, The only cure, and Inventory tetris. But an error does´nt pop up in the bottom right corner.

Thank you as well. I believe the issue is Steam only asks you when you subscribe, and I added the requirement at the launch of B42 unstable - so you probably missed the window.

There's an image about the required mods but I can try to make it more noticable + explain for older users.

For all on-going projects errorMagnifier and Mod Alerts will be required.

@Chuckleberry Finn, it'd be nice to include them in mod description (this page). I have read it before installing, to be clear. Also, I'm not sure how it works but some mods actually have links to required mods so they install automatically.

@author i was just defending you on another of your mods and now i even got a big good hint from you here.

your buidance pointed me to the mod common sense and there was a general solution for most actual errors regarding liquid handling...

now my foraging context is there again, thanks, you just safed me about 20 minutes

Also, the first line of the error usually show the MOD ID. So you can tell who to share the error too.

@耀 神 帝 - Not a stupid question at all. This mod doesn't show up until you have errors. Some errors may not register with the mod either. You'd have to check your console log for those.

When you do get an error, a small button will appear at the bottom right or in your pause-game-menu. Clicking it will show a list of error headers. Clicking the clipboard icons will grab those errors to your computers clipboard for ease of sharing.

stupid question , a really basic one, but umm, how does this mod work exactly? i see some thing using debug mode, but i am just doing vanilla it doesn't really show up. btw can tell you care about your mods , and your mods is life-saving , ty !

Within your Zomboid (cache/local folder/appdata/home) you'll find a console.txt and if you're a host console.txt.

You can also find older logs in the Logs/ folder, the files there are named debugLog.txt
