Totally fair. I don't have any plans to do that myself, but you are welcome to do that for your own personal use.
@JarlRagnar793
No plans for that.
The normal soul grinder is no where near as cool as this. you did a great job, and what I really want(ed) is a reskin of the normal soul-grinders using your model in red. that would be PEAK khorn activities fr.
His black skin is what makes him unique. Turning him red would just make him look like a normal Khorne soul grinder.
I see what you mean, when he dies his armour doesn't go away with the rest of him. I'm not sure why that is. I'll look into fixing it, but it's not a top priority.
This is applying to several of the units introduced by your mods, the chosen bloodletters seem to be unaffected though and spawn at max rank.
Blind Leading the Colorblind's tutorials do a good job at showing you what matters in creating a unit. So I suggest looking at someone else's work while watching one of his videos. Follow along with his video and edit what tables he says you should edit. But not everything works the same, as some units will require different tables than others. It's something that you just have to fiddle with yourself and find what does/doesn't work. If you want, you can look at the files of my mods, specifically ones that just add units. You'll find that a lot of them will use the same tables. That would be a good way to familiarise yourself with things.
So as far as I know, certain visual effects are attached to unit animations. The fire effect around the sword is tied to the Soul Grinder of Khorne animation. I don't know how to tell what is or isn't animation locked, you'll just have to play around and see. One thing I can suggest is looking at the files of a mod similar to what you want to make. See what they did and apply it to your own mod. That's one of the tricks I did starting out.
Search up "Blind Leading the Colorblind" on youtube. His videos helped get me started with modding!
Not at the moment. I don't use SFO so it will be up to other people to make a sub-mod if they so wish.
With just this mod and the 2 you mentioned enabled, I was able to play just fine. No crash after the battle, and I was able to end the turn. So it might be something else on your end
More character names (Immortal Empries, all 23 races)
Factional furies reskin
Even the new compilation mod for all the khorne units seemed to have the same problem.
Yes!
@Neohuman
I don't have any plans to, since he's a Regiment of Renown, and the point of RoR's is to be capped.
No cap version please?
Done! He can now be recruited by the Daemon Prince
I don't have any plans to currently. The point of this guy was to be an ROR, since there aren't any for soul grinders in vanilla. Removing that uniqueness from him defeats his whole purpose, if that makes sense.
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD
SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE
I've honestly been blown away by the support I've received. I just made these mods for fun and because I have free time. I never expected people would like what I create this much, it's a truly wonderful feeling.
