It's been a couple weeks, and I finally got to start my new colony and didn't want to try to link to an Anima tree with 1/10 people, so I forked this.

I hope you post that 1.5 fork eventually if we dont hear from the author, this was such a nice mod that made playing smaller colonies more rewarding especially early game.

The mod's actual code works fine; just a bunch of functions were renamed out from under it. I've got it recompiled for 1.5, but I can't find a GitHub to submit to or anything. If you'd like Rachek I can hook you up with a list of the changes needed.

If I don't hear back in a few days I'll assume you're indisposed and probably put up a temporary "Continued" mod until you're free. I'm sure there are others out there who did a Psylink Bestower ceremony or whatever and went "what the hell do you mean 11% just because I don't have 28 more people?!"

I like how you gave us the option to make it scale upwards as well. If only 10 people out of 50 or so attend a ceremony, well then that's pretty damn sad, ain't it?

The gizmos are fixed! Finally took a hammer to all of the inconsistencies and edge cases by moving a lot of the logic outside of rituals themselves. If y'all spot any more bugs, let me know.

Add: this happens on hover (probably because of hint trying to calculate ritual outcome?), I'm unable to click them because they are hiding after this exception.

Accuse and Leader speech gizmos are bugging out in my mod list with exception:

Whoops, I knew not having Royalty would come back to bite me someday. I figured out the problem and think I have a solution—the weird quest/ritual hybrid nature of it apparently makes it work a bit differently than other rituals. It should be fixed now. Thank's for the report!

Looks like this mod breaking the bestowal ceremony.
After the end of the ceremony, nothing happens, only a red error in the log.
After disabling this mod, everything is fine.

I also agree with the 75% idea, though this is already an instant download. I was always annoyed that my 3-5 person colonies were stuck with penalties.

If you could figure that out, it would be an instant download for me. I always thought the ten person cap was always rather limiting, especially if you have hospitality guests or something over. Imagine a dance party with 30+ pawns…

Agreed with DisKorrupt6, 75% attendance should be considered full attendance.

Sometimes you have disabled or hurt pawns that just can't make it due to various reasons and this needs to be accounted for to some degree.

I like the idea of always scaling, but I'd have it require 75% attendance myself, so like, 3 colonists would need 100% but 4 allows one pawn to keep doing other things. maybe have an option to set the population percentage required?

I considered uncapping, though of the two routes I thought of, neither seem particularly great.

The easy way is just always scaling, at which point a 30 person colony would require ~30 participants in order to reach the same quality as a 3 person colony with ~3 participants. A lot more fuss for no additional benefit, but it could be interesting for a sort of ideology hard mode.

Conversely, I could figure out a way to add bonus quality. That would require a lot more effort, since the system it uses to calculate quality is nonlinear and capped at 10. I'd have to figure out a good way to extend the curve in a way that isn't hopelessly broken. And... I don't actually know if adding bonus quality even works. I haven't looked at the code.

I'll play around with it at some point soon. Gotta get the other rituals working too, like the lantern festival, and I'll experiment with uncapping. Might just try both ideas and add them as mod settings.

Very handy! I was just going to do a solo mechinator playthrough. Out of curiosity, is there a way to uncap the ritual participants for super large colonies?
