The turret mount is a bit weird. I have to find a better way to handle it still but basically in the center of the model there's an invisible entity you have to change the bodygroup on to make it work. Also yes

Am I stupid? How do I use the turret mount platform? Also, what happened to the grunt suicide grenade weapon? Was it removed? Will it ever come back? Did it ever exist to begin with? Am I crazy?

I never removed anything, Luna did which caused shit to break and unload for people.

is this the one that also had the AI controlled airborne vehicles like the phantoms and hornets? if so i think i know why you removed them (same reason as the turrets being broken?) but if that's something else do you know where i could find that? i downloaded it a while back but it doesn't show up anymore after i disabled a required base, it still hasn't appeared after i turned it back on. i couldn't even find it in subscriptions through steam so i'm lost. also i wish you luck fixing this madness with the turrets

The jammers in halo scramble your radar and make fake red dots move around it, the reach jammer messes with your hud and disabled radio communication.

They dont do anything in the addon because I have nothing I can manipulate to recreate these effects

Ive already said they wont be fixed for a WHILE.
There's so many things I have to fix just to get these to work Its not as simple as updating the code I have to finish everything else so these arent broken as well. PLEASE.

Working on fixing it. cant say.
I could fix it now but if I pushed the update then LFS redux will be even more broken with like half of the vehicle materials on it fucked so I have to fix things in EVERY SINGLE. addon before I can fucking release the updates.

It does get removed, it just wont actually do anything like if I throw a grenade it will get removed but there is no thrown grenade

Items get removed from you when you throw them, it might just be bugging/desyncing and not removing from your inventory.
its not something I can easily fix the strip command is jank.

Sometimes the equipment just stops working entirely, like you can spawn them in and such but for example if I try to throw a grenade nothing will happen and same goes for trying to use any other equipment.

out of curiosity when will the spawn platforms come out? And what exactly will they be? like will it have a pad that opens and the vehicle spawns on said pad and flies out? A spawn able hanger bay that could be slipped into capital ship models? Maybe even something like a building that "builds" the vehicles. Not sure but it'd be amazing as far as fighting and rp!

But we don't use SPV3 anymore since I made my own private NPCs for the server.
I never liked them to begin with honestly.
Nothing wrong with the code or SgtFlex its spv3 itself.

The reason its triggering is left over code I had in it to interact with the SPV3 npcs the same way their grenades do.

It was done originally to interact with SPV3 npcs because they had something similar in their code.
For now just wait and dont use it on spv3 stuff.
Im in the middle of updating all my stuff and its taking me months to finish this huge update but its almost done.
it spans 5 addons and creates 2 new ones.

Just a note too: It only seems to do it on the SPV3 NPCs. Other NPCs, including ones on VJ base seem to work just fine

Oh that's a bit of code I accidentally left in public that is used to make my npcs react to being stuck.
Not sure how old that line is but ive changed it since then to check if its valid to run.

Your work here is absolutely stellar, Impulse. I love these items. I've been spending the past few days just playing with them in singleplayer.

I wish these were around when I was running Halo RP servers. This would have made quality of life so much better and im positive my players would have enjoyed your work as much as I do.

One thing however to bring to your attention if you weren't aware of it; the spike grenade upon sticking to a SPV3 NPC doesn't explode and just gives this error:

Not a deal breaker of course, but figured you'd want to know.

Its the LFS code.
I plan to eventually when I have time to just make my own base for the turrets so it doesn't need LFS.

But for LFS, the AI is enabled from the context menu properties of the entities datatable, its a bool.
The tracking is any LFS vehicle or any NPC registered by the LFS autorun which is limited to just hl2 npcs unless you manually add to it

@Impulse I had a question, how do the AI turrets work when it comes to tracking and engaging enemy targets? Does it engage AI and do players have to activate the AI weapons by pressing E on them? I'm just curious
