This was a stupidly complex puzzle for such a simple chamber. Funny thing, I watched the solution, then forgot the solution, and then figured out my own way around the puzzle. 10/10, would do again.

Honestly, I tried to figure it out, but coundn't, and had to watch the solution. Kind of impress that a such complexity can be achieved in a visually simple test chamber. I Have to be better à creating chamber for my futur ones.

Yeah, i def did the wrong solution by jumping off the gel into the portal. Still a great level

So i solved the puzzle. It was great, really fun. Then I looked at the rest of the video, and the intended solution (not the one I found) was ingenious. Really mind-blowing. Sad to say I cheated by placing the portal onto the surface then bouncing my way through it, like so many others. Great puzzle, great vid, even years later!

Nice one. But i suggest you make the ledge over the wall (on the side of the cube dropper) stick out one more block. This is because i managed to jump from the gel into the portal that i have created on the tiles below the ledge so i didnt finish the puzzle correctly.

With that said, I don't know if it was because of my mindset or what, but the "aha" moment felt a bit... underwhelming? Maybe because I went into the puzzle knowing it'd just be a one trick pony? Again, I don't know, I am just giving feedback.

I discovered a way to do it in an unintended way by bhoping onto the blue gel to skip the knowledge check, but I decided not to do it to see what the intended solution was. I like it, it's just neat. The "aha" moment you mentioned pretty much happened the way you explained it.

I solved this puzzle two different ways that weren't the solution, the first way was the way that "dtnk' posted about doing a bit of parkour on the indented portal wall to get back to the main room, the other way was to get the funnel in place and the button is just close enough that you can just regularly jump and press it then I jumped into the funnel holding the cube and worked my way up the wall by moving my portal up the wall a small bit at a time till I was able to get over the wall. Fun puzzle though with multiple ways of solving it

Very cool puzzle, but I beat it in a much different way than what is shown in your video... There's a way to portal back to the entrance area using a bit of parkour. I did it by shooting the portal at the far end of the room (where the funnel goes to catch the cube) and then narrowly jumping into that portal using the blue gel to get to the entrance again. (This could be fixed by just making this tricky jump impossible by putting the portalable surface farther apart from the goo!)

i set the tunnel into the exit, and was able to get in without the box and even entering the second room wasnt requiref
