If you need to make a spell targeting only undead, you can take "wh_main_spell_vampires_invocation_of_nehek" as example.
Special ability to invalid target flags

Hey there! Any chance you could help me understand how you get it to do "Affected units if Undead"? Im trying to make something that only affects living units, but not anything that crumbles (like elementals, constructs or undead) but I'm having difficulty navigating some of the files, and was wondering if you knew maybe how, since you successfully made some of these spells only effect undead

You should get plus one lord to recruiting pool after building 3rd lvl vampire forest building and plus one to pool after learning certain lord skill.

Oooh! This could be the base of implementing a cool idea I have had knocking around in my head for a while: a Vampire Coast LL with a ship made from the body of a treeman. The LL itself is the ghost of said treeman. I think it would be awesome.

The way i understand warhammer lore, Drycha should absolutely hate necromancy.
If you want a submod for Drycha, you can make it yourself though.

Do not plan to add hero version since lorewise this lore practitioners are extremely rare.

Look at previous posts. Depending at what spell you want to do you need some of this tables. For example wh_dlc05_spell_life_earth_blood
special abilities groups to unit abilities junctions - to add spell to the existing lore
special ability intencity settings - new wh3 table for power scaling from mastery of elemental winds
special ability phases
special ability to invalid target flags
special ability to phase junctions
unit abilities
unit abilities to additional ui effect junctions - ui flavour
unit special abilities

Choose vanilla ability similar to ability you need and use RPFM global search (view/toggle global search window and paste ability name from unit abilities).

Also you need to add spell to unit. In unit abilities table you can tick "requires effect enabling".
land unit to unit abilities junction gives ability in custom battle and in campaign if you didn't tick "requires effect enabling". If you do, you need to add this spell with effect related tables, like character skills. If you made character mods you probaly kno how to work with effect related tables. Pay attention to effect bonus value unit ability junction where you can enable, change recharge mod etc...

if you want to make summoning spell don't forget to make corresponding tables starting from land unit table

ui flavour:
unit abilities to additional ui effect junks
create new flavour row
unit abilities additional ui effect

to assign spell to some lore/creating new lore:
special abilities groups
special abilities groups to unit abilities junctions
special abilities groups to units junction

various loc files

icons (don't remember if you need them for phases or only abilities)
ui/battle_ui/ability_icons

I can forget some, but all in all you should choose vanilla spell and use global search in RPFM to find tables you need for custom spell.

unit abilities
unit special abilities (need unique number in Unique ID)

advanced tables for specific spell types:
special ability phases
special ability phase stat effect
special ability phase attribute effects
special ability to special ability phase junctions
battle vortex tables and all related to vortexes
projectiles tables and all related to projectiles

activation and recharge contexts:
special abilities to auto deactivate flag
special abilities to invalid target flags
special abilities to invalid usage flags

technically gryphon wood gives those bonuses, but i do agree. drycha is no wood elf after all, but a spiteful and malevolent branchwraith. it is not out of the question that she might use less than wholesome means just to spite the asrai. coedill even dabbles in dark magic, which is the basis upon which necromancy was developed, and made pacts with the forces of chaos during the end times, such was his hatred for the elves.

drycha gains diplomacy bonuses for vampire counts though. so she probably does not hate necromancy as much as others.

Wood elves should hate such things as necromancy, so i do not see it lore friendly.
You can always do a submod if you wish.

it'd be interesting if drycha could make use of this, bringing back the spirits that were failed by the asrai so that they could take their revenge from beyond the grave. mayhaps the landmarks at the haunted forest and gryphon wood (due to proximity to sylvania) could provide bonuses for them too?
