Choose vanilla ability similar to ability you need and use RPFM global search (view/toggle global search window and paste ability name from unit abilities).
land unit to unit abilities junction gives ability in custom battle and in campaign if you didn't tick "requires effect enabling". If you do, you need to add this spell with effect related tables, like character skills. If you made character mods you probaly kno how to work with effect related tables. Pay attention to effect bonus value unit ability junction where you can enable, change recharge mod etc...

I can forget some, but all in all you should choose vanilla spell and use global search in RPFM to find tables you need for custom spell.
