It was so bad I had to make the rear wheel on my Mosquitos fixed, but I just tested to make it retractable and now wheel drifting, so yay.
Definitely better than before but very far from perfect. I'm sure a lot of things will be tweaked before release though so I'll wait to change anything until we know for sure how it will be once 1.3 is released.
This basically means that you will never be able to do dog-fighting manoeuvres for more than 8-10 seconds before your plane falls out of the sky.
So sad news... 🙄
- A single engine fighter usually takes me 15-25 hours to build, with an extra 1-4 hours per variant depending on how much they differ.
- A twin engine fighter/bomber usually takes 20-30 hours to build, and every variant adds an extra 1-4 hours
- A 4 engine bomber usually takes 30-50 hours depending on the complexity level (the retractable ball turret alone on my B-24 Liberator took about 10-12 h of testing and fidgeting to get to work ok), with variants taking anywhere from 1 hour to 10 hours (like the Dambuste Lancaster with the bouncing bomb).
- Add another 1-5 hours of searching info online, 3-way plans, colour schemes, weapon differences between variants etc. for each plane and sometimes for each variant.
So it's very nice to get some positive feedback considering the time I've sank into my planes, so thank you for that. :)
Just FYI this is my current list (hopefully complete) of planes I want to build someday. I don't build them in any particular order so any plane might be the next one I get to, but that will probably not be before the public release of version 1.3 since aerodynamics are being changed again, hopefully for the better this time.
So feel free to suggest more planes, but please do realise it might be a while or three before I get to it.
Thanks for all the support. :)

And thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you like my builds. :)
Anyways Thank you for being such a nice and wonderful creator!
Yeah I couldn't get the Stuka to work too well in the 1.2 aerodynamics, but I may increase engine power a bit more bc I've also expereinced it being a bit too sluggish with the bombs attached. I'm trying to keep empty top speed to about what the real thing had but in 1.2 it's hard since the weight and drag of external bombs is SO significant, so I might ahve to increase top speed a fair bit past the real thing to get it to fly ok with bombs.
Might just be a bad excuse bc I'm lazy though. 😁
