There are plans to update it for the B42. Color Cycle is my favorite, nice mod.

Id love to see this made comparable with flashlights having red flashlights or being able to use flashlights as road flares would be truly awesome

Hello! I’m Kai (Nem) reaching out on behalf of the Day’s End Roleplay server. We were interested in adding Remote Lights Controller to our unlisted modpack if you would be alright with it.

This would include you extending your creative license to us, allowing our mod team to add/edit/use your mod to suit our server. We will include credit to you as the original creator of the mod, of course, and have no intention as calling it our own work.

@CptMadnezz It does not fix any bugs built into the game. That bug will be fixed in the next major update of project zombiod though

without the mod when you break a wall the light shading of the wall stay there does this mod fix that weird lighting bug?

After your new update i just tried it again but somehow the brightness slider still failed to work for me, the bulb just emit max brightness (mp)
Already tried:
- Unsub mods delete folder (both clients side and server) and Resub it
- spawned new light bulb to test (white and cyan)
- spawned new lights controller
- scan and find lights

Is there something wrong on my side? Other than the newest brightness slider, all working good for far.

This mod is somehow giving me an error without me even ever having enabled it (I am subscribed), don't know exactly how or what the cause nor effect is but something about it showed up under the Error Finder mod UI thing

have you considered an optional file adding sounds to the lights like the light switches in game? for example adding a sound radius on the strobe, to simulate the flashing attracting zombies

Already tried replaced the lamp, reinsert the remote controlled light bulb (tested with white & yellow), toggle off/on, light show, re-scan.

The brightness slider seems does nothing at max or min setting. Was tested this with pre-update built table lamp. (Non-RGB remote)

@BlackWater821 Just means that you will need to restart it again after 5 minutes. This is really to preventing a light show from somehow getting "detached" from whomever started it and being unable to stop it. Really, this shouldn't actually happen.

This is great. Now I can put a lot of lights in my base for night time farming, and not have to worry too much about high generator fuel usage, or the tedium of turning lights off.

Oh, wall lights work just fine as long as you can replace the bulb. I've considered making something to let you remote control the world lights but that would be another task all on its own

una actualizacion impresionante lastima que los apliques exteriores de las lamparas no se pueda poner en el suelo pues hay algunos retro y otro modernos con lo que quedarian bien este mod suyo y este effecto de luces quedara muy bien en una armeria con luz roja o verde o azul oscuro sobre todo con la puerta de seguridad blindada de cristal de el juego vanilla ya que esa puerta emite el destello de las luces desde el interior si la puerta de panel de codigo rojo que esta en cada base militar y armeria nos hace falta un mod de alarmas y alertas quedaria muy bien para este mod a cuentos pies de altitud se puede activar estas luces para saber la altura cuando este pilotando un elicoptero y se de noche es deficil aterrizar ya que son mods de elicopteros muy inestables en project zomboid no hay mods de elicopteros estables todo muy experimental

pero bueno con este mod se le podria sacar partido en crear un elipuerto con luces de emergencia por eso mecione lo de las lamparas exteriores y no las lamparas de mesita

@Grimgriefa, the range of the scanner to find lights is selectable by you in the U. The range of the controller after you have already found the lights is 100x100 square centered on the player

whats the range on the controller will it find all the lights in a house or just the ones you are standing next to? thinking this would be great for a hospital event or something having lights flickering on and off

The mod works on both and can be useful even on SP to turn your lights on and off. But the light show is kind of pointless without friends to dance with.

@hades-84, I used google translate so I apologize if I misunderstood what you are asking.

The idea of proximity is pretty cool. I wouldn't make it so it could be used for detection of players or zombies, but I could make it so if you have the controller in your pocket, and you get near the lights they turn on automatically, and if you leave the area it turns them off automatically.

As for the usefulness, the mod was created for use on MP servers at events.

un mod que siempre quise pero no para un espectaculo mas bien para usarlo como logistica y supervivencia es decir medio militar

podria crear una version con sensor de alcance y movimiento seria muy util usar este mod suyo y crear estas luces junto con un sensor y cuando la luz este encendida en alguna area quiere decir que alguien entro en el perimetro o el refujio quiza un zombie quiza un saqueador sobre todo biene muy bien como una alarma silenciosa no alertara a los zombies y tambien biene bien para cuando tenga que aterrizar el elicoptero un mod que se le puede sacar mucho partido y no estaria de mas una version de alarma con sonido pero que los zombies no lo puedan escuchar para cuando toque abrir el garaje la armeria el almacen o el taller.. fuera de el uso militar tambien se puede usar para un bar o discoteca o casa rgb tipo ciberpunk pero yo creo que es mas factible para el uso de sobrevivir poco se puede bailar con 400 zombies tocando a la puerta
