The mod has been updated, there has been a rebalance to ideology group opinions on centralization laws and the first iteration of china is here.

@SnowHail I believe we need to tweak ideology group opinions on the centralization laws so they're not as indifferent to them, this will come in a future update.

When I opened my Ottoman Empire campaign this evening, the Tanzimat: Kurdish Autonomy returned in the Journal. I have a question about the Unitary law, do I need another law passed first as the intelligentsia is in favor of the law, but since 99.9% of IG's aren't interested I can't pass it.

The journal should only disappear if you have lost all of your protectorates. If you are playing as a kurdish country you would need to conquer the rest.

I am planning on adding an event for the Uprising of Sheikh Ubeydullah, but that might come a bit later.

The lack of westernization decisions to change clothes, armament, building styles make this game no sense at all.

Finally, the necessity we are waiting for. The navy system needs to be redone completely, include the ship model. The game developer have no idea what "dreadnought" "monitor" "battleship"are. It's a big disappointment for me that they even don't do some basic research. Mods like "Naval Armament and Armor Customization"are great though

@ツKappar1n0™ This mod is pretty big, and unlikely to be compatible with anything other than UI mods. As for smaller european states, there is currently a limitation in how small the provinces are in vanilla, so adding micronations such as San Marino, Monaco etc. would either require them being somewhat overrepresented at best or taking up important provinces from other nations at worst. This is something that would require deeper map modding.

@absurdkingaidan This could be a future development feature, dynamically changing the titles based on events/laws, but now a priority right now.

Is this compatible with the Ecchi mod? I assume mods changing states are incompatible but this one just adds new historical charakter afaikand are there plans to add the smaller german (and european) states?

would this change the title from tsar to emperor since that is correct historically speaking or making it an option for Russia and to make the switch from the German imperial title of kaiser to the English imperial title of emperor for both Germany and Austria? You know just thinking here.

@vlax I've sent you a PM. Write to me and hopefully we can resolve this. The mod uses a file called "laws_l_english_additional" to localize centralization, per norton's flavor mod.

I mean, I made a localization for this mod and if I localize this law I break the names of the other laws. This affects the whole laws_l_english file because it is (I assume) named like the laws file of the base game. You need to rename it or do anything else to remove the problem when someone will localize this mod.

Its mostly to simulate situations like in south africa where the calvinist boers wanted to separate themselves from the protestant/anglican english.

It also makes Freedom of Conscience more important in europe, wheras before you could get away with just State Church holding everything from england to eastern Prussia.

Was part of QA for this mod, as I personally feel that differentiation between countries is one of the main things lacking from Vicky 3, this mod is perfect.

It feels like you're playing Vicky 3 in 2023, when the devs have added a bunch of the stuff that should have been in at launch!
