I've submitted a PR on GitHub [github.com] that attempts to address the issue seen by [@Andrew R.L. ], [@比烧酒 ], and [@UmbraAtrox ].
RimWorld 1.6 added multi-threaded pathfinding which broke one of the functions that's using non-thread-safe containers.

Theres an incompatibility with Prison Labor where prisoners wont eat or get fed by colonists. Uninstalling your mod fixed the issue. I've reported this to the maintainer of Prison Labor as well.

Issue currently when a prison is located on a grav ship you are unable to hit the launch button on the pilot console. Took me a moment to turn Dev back on and check that it was putting a trace to console with every click.

I use VE: Nutrient Paste Expanded, my prisoners won't eat nutrient paste in the prison commons. Even manually giving them the paste will suddenly forbid it when they try to take it.

It took me some time to figure out why they won't leave their cell, so I just wanted to share to hopefully save other people some time. But thanks for mentioning Prison Break, it sounds good, so I will grab that one too:steamthumbsup:

Leaving the cell hasn't been an issue. Just their immediate desire to leave altogether has been a bit annoying. But Nigel's Prison Break Mod took care of it. It now depends on their mood rather than RNG.
And yeah I noticed the cell walls not being real walls, which is why I ditched them even before I had any occupants.

In case your prisoner is refusing to leave their cell, make sure the game considers the cell and the comms room as seperate rooms. If the cell wall facing the comm room is constructed with an embrasure or a cell wall from ReBuild: Walls and Corners, the prisoner won't leave the cell. Use solid walls, like in the picture above.

That explains it, thank you. My old prison was just a stone room at the side of a mountain. Right now I linked it up with a sleuse to my entire northern half of the base.:LaughingGuest:
I hoped a luxurious commons would reduce their desire to break out until I can recruit them.

I hope this mod pairs up well with nigels prison break mod.

Have you unmarked every table, statue and fire from being a prisoner commons? I haven't had this situation yet, but I could try and replicate if you still have the bug, as I do not have Dubs Hygiene mod.

My issue on the other hand is, ever since I have a prisoner commons, I have a lot more breakouts, even on low occupation.
My previous temporary prison room where sometimes 6 or 7 people lived on ~20 tiles had fewer breakouts in almost 30 years versus 2-4 people in luxurious and extremely spacious commons within 0.5-1.5 years. One breakout happened just hours after arrest while half of them were still in hospital beds.

So, I wonder if the mod has some unfortunate addition of breakout chances versus a single vanilla holding cell. Is there a way to modify it myself?

I'm having an issue when I move/remove a prisoner common area, the old area stays as a prisoner area. So if I place a bed there is automatically becomes a prisoner bed. If I remove the walls then It makes the whole area a common area. Pawns no longer haul food, etc. This happens even if I disable common area and deconstruct table first. Only work around I have found so far is to save, disable mod, reload, resave, enable mod. I don't plan on moving the prison area around the map much but though you might be interested in knowing. Only mod conflict it could have is maybe the Dubs Hygiene mod? I did have a latrine in the common area.

I might have 2 mods in my mod list that may cause conflicts with this mod due to door changes, but I will have to test and check to see. but Overall I think I am going to use this in my next save.

the doors from Doors Expanded dont seem to be considered doors to the prisoners. specifically the jail doors. no going in or out of the common room or cell/cells

@Squishyjellyfish Slaves can just be restricted to certain zones just like regular colonists. Although this mod might help you since it can designate tables for only colonists or only slaves (among other things):

@Mlie If a prisoner is in his cell and another is in the shared area eating, if one of them decides to rebel, will the other follow the rebellion or will only one rebel, like the separate prisons in vanilla?

My prisoners just won't go through doors even though the barracks are right next to the prison hospital, with Commons-toggled buildings in both rooms. There are no errors; anyone had similar issues?

yellow error logs coming up for prison commons, lmk if you'd like for any info? I don't think its a mod conflict but who knows

"Trying to get valid region at (63, 0, 127) but RegionAndRoomUpdater is disabled. The result may be incorrect...." mentions prison commons once clicked on.

Am I using this wrong? The prisoners will leave their cells to go to the common area.. but they cannot get back into their cell to sleep.
