ive tested it, making sure to save beforehand, without actually checking the error logs or anything...it works fine surface level, again i did not check to see if errors popped up but it dose work without causing issues

its probably safe to use on 1.6. also, now that i actually have a stable income again, update soon(ish). if i dont forget. probably gonna have to set a reminder

is there any news of when this might be updated, or if its still safe to use?

will soon(relatively) get updated with a dependency gene as others reccomended. will probably be getting red alert updated as well around the same time

This is very useful for Roleplay colonist like I want a place to store my warcasket and only open them when the time of war calls!

Great idea! I pretty much never use Cryptosleep as the few places it is useful to me (keeping prisoners on ice till tribute collectors arrive or pawns that wake up for combat and then climb back in the pod) are time sensitive and Cryptosleep sickness make the point moot by diminishing value or making them combat ineffective.

Once the Altered Carbon mod gets updated, you should definitely make this prevent re-sleeving sickness too.

update pushed
Admiral Zander  [ophavsmand] 9. apr. 2024 kl. 12:54
might work without a dedicated update. if not, let me know and i'll make sure to get it updated sooner.

1.5?

Yea cryptosleep dependency would be cool.

most modded genes that eliminate a certain debuff are complex/high cost. besides, you really think streamlining someone metabolism and body systems to be used to going in and out of basically hibernation repeatedly wouldnt be complex? jokes aside, whenever i get around to paying taranchuk to add cryptosleep dependency ill probably lower its complexity to 2
//SlipperyPete:. 13. feb. 2023 kl. 10:45
Cryptosleep dependency would be pretty cool, I second that!

Also, any chance you could lower the complexity for the current gene to 1 or 2 to make it more in line with all other genes. 4 complexity is definitely really high compared to almost most all other genes available in biotech or mods.

i could see about having that done
SkimmingDawg 13. dec. 2022 kl. 13:09
can there also be a gene for cryptosleep dependency?
i want to have supersoldiers to live in cryptosleep caskets untill they are finally out to fight invaders
Admiral Zander  [ophavsmand] 12. dec. 2022 kl. 9:11
ah shit you right
Slyuxx 12. dec. 2022 kl. 4:38
This is a mod for Biotech correct? It's not set as a dependent on the mod page here; just wanted to point that out.

Time to turn those Hussars into fully bionic eversors. Thanks for this.

seems like such an obvious tweak for space travelers in a sub lightspeed setting like RimWorld. Thanks for sharing!

yeah i never thought of it either until the credited guy suggested it, but it is quite nice for a specific kind of playstyle and specific circumstances

This is something I didn't know I wanted. Thank you.
