Not sure why this is so well praised, sure its cool to see the cut content, but you can some of it was cut for a reason, the lack of weapons and ammo on some of the flood maps make it impossible to get around, playing on normal feels like legendary, its so stupid....

Hot take here.. I actually like the single shot battle riffle.I would like a mod that makes all weapons act and perform like here in this mod but in the version of the game that is standard. Just a uncut weapon mod i guess is what I am asking for.

This mod makes me appreciate how much polish we got with the retail version. All the animations and hud elements from this mod are so janky. It frustrates me that to have all the cut content from this mod, we also have to have so many elements of the game rolled back to placeholder garbage.

Halo 2 is not my favorite one. I kinda dislike it, but this sure made me enjoy it A LOT 10/10

Well, kinda, final mission against two scarab likes to bug-out a lot, but other than that it's cool. Finally was able to experiment the original warthog run ayy

There is a softlock in The Great Journey, where dying during the scarab section has the potential to put you in an endless loop of eternally zooming out from the Arbiter's corpse and never properly respawning you.

Really like the uncut content but not a fan of fine-tuned weapons being reversed to an earlier and frankly inferior stage of development. Feels like the beta versions of weapons should be in a separate mod.

Definitely feels harder then the base game. More enemy spawns in some places.

I see why the flood juggernaut was cut, their just bullet sponges that are not interesting to fight.

Hi, just finished this on Heroic. I don't mean to insult the mod author, this is just a question: Is this intended to be easier than MCC:CE? Because I was dying way more often on Heroic in that one than in this one, and I was wondering if that's due to the MCC tickrate changes.

Just finished playing through the campaign with this mod and it was a lot of fun. I really liked the turret weapons lol. I feel like most of the cut scenes tho were definitely cut for a reason as it didn't make a lot of sense for the warthog run to even be there haha. All in all it was really enjoyable. Thanks for this, always fun to check out stuff like this.

There's been no way so far for modded campaign levels to go on anniversary mode unless it's through Nexus Mods, but even then, it probably won't work given the textures and meshes for most of the uncut stuff is classic, and will probably break.

Are there any plans to make this compatible with remastered graphics, or is that not possible? It's not a big deal, but unlike Halo CE, I'm not a fan of Halo 2's classic graphics.

@Dirty_Digger The ‘Mods Enabled’ mode was specifically made for modding and is needed for the majority of mods.
It’d make more sense for them to mention if it’s Anti-Cheat friendly.

This should be in the description:

To play this you need to start the game in mod and cheat mode. If you start and the anti-cheat box comes up you can't play it.

Its started under campaign->halo 2: anniversary->halo 2 uncut.

Is it just me or does the wraith seem too bulky in this? On heroic it seemed like enemy wraiths were eating about 20 shots from my wraith before going down. Just seemed to really stall the game play.

is this assembly friendly? tried to give my marines higher health vitality through assembly via decompression - edit character vitality - re-compression - load game - select game mission - loading bar stuck at the end of the loading screen. Anyway around this?

Amazing work!! Now I know this would be asking for a lot but just IMAGINE if you worked with that one dude who restored the original lighting for Halo 2 as well but for this entire campaign. Now that would be the definitive complete OG Halo 2 experience!

- Fixed Quarantine Zone softlock
- Removed map images from the pause menu. No longer will your game crash when you pause. Sadly, this also removes some of the images from the main menu, but that's the price we pay for lack of MCC support.

This is one of the few mods I'd argue is an improvement over the original. Obviously it lacks some polish, but the original feels so sparse and unfinished by comparison. Also the single shot BR is such a wonderful addition to the sandbox.

It's really fantastic. The only problem I've seen is that the plasma pistol does not drop jackle shields. Now, this may have been a trade-off because the plasma pistol was given area of effect splash damage. If you haven't noticed, a single overcharge shot can take down multiple elite shields. So i'm not sure, but I can do without the AOE.

@ReedemtheD3ad! No worries. The dialogue hint is the same as vanilla with Johnson saying "someone put a satchel on the gate" though this time you actually have to do it instead of the hunters busting through for you XD

@RedeemtheD3ad, to open the door after that part on Outskirts in Uncut you place a demo charge on the door instead of the Hunters breaking the door down. When you approach the door you should get a prompt to place the charge and have a few seconds to move away from the door.

Got semi-softlocked on outskirts. After phantom came in on holdout section, game would not progress and spawn hunters to break open door. Was able to jump over the rooftops to continue the mission however.
