When I click on the trader, it just says Grab ______ Trader, theres not an option to trade or do any other action

IDK if this is a bug,but im not getting a popup tab to trade with the Trader.The mods i'm using include Noir's attachments,RV interior,Vehicle spawn edits for Filibusters cars,Filibuster used cars+animation beta,MRE mod,Enhanced environment,Dynamic Trading,Immersive hunting,Food preservation Plus,First Aid overhaul,TchernoLub B41,True crawl,Advanced Trajectory's realistic overhaul,true crouching,MaD awesome zombie loot,lingering whispers,they knew,hypothermia kills,Sensible balance,Mod manager:enhanced load order,Bandit Weapon condition indicator,expanded helicopter events,easy config chucked,error Magnifier,Weapon condition indicator,mod manger,Radio Frequency manger,Gyde's trait magazines,obvious collecting,hide,braven throwables,common sense,Snake's mod pack,bow and arrow,UV's training range,total rebalance for vanilla weapons,item tweaker API,vanilla crafting expansion,brita's weapon pack,Mod potions,Arsenal gunfighter.
any idea if any of these conflict with Dynamic Trading?

Seems like trading with Erwin Marduk Hoslin (the permanent shop trader) causes him to still disappear, despite his description. Mod conflict, or an issue with the base mod?

do you know if anything can cause this, or did i do something wrong? (the trader face appeared like a foraging icon, and when i right-clicked on it, it only gave me an option to ignore it or to pick it up. (i think i dragged it to the floor before it started spawning).

hi spoon, ive been having a great time with your mods :)

for this one though, i managed to find a trader and when i picked it up, it started spawning traders every 2 seconds, with a "hi", "howdy" or a "ho ho ho" like 20 times and wouldnt stop. :o)

the only way i could recover was to force quit the game, disable the mod and reload from an hour earlier in game or something, (which was ok) but i didnt know if it was a bug or is it supposed to spawn a certain amount and then stop on its own?

For those wondering, when calling a trader having a Ham radio nearby won't work. Despite the recipes having a "CanBeDoneFromFloor : TRUE," condition, it doesn't appear to work once the Ham radio is placed. You'll have to pick it up until your inventory for it to work.

And I have an idea.
I thought it would be great if we could trade rare foods that players can't farming or hunting.(Such as oranges, lemons, and cheese.)

Ahh yeah, that one, it was kind of a prototype project that ran into a wall. It works but it also disappears after trading.

If you are playing in SP anyways then it won't be much trouble to add a shopkeeper through debug menu.

@JustStorm Nope. But you can use them both without any problems.
@Felix I'll overhaul the trader spawn system a little and include some tooltips for different traders.
@ghostreporting911 These units are basically the 'hunger' value those items have. 100 units is something like 5 bottles?
@Egg Yes. But I will overhaul the mod so the traders wont need to be picked up at all and can't be picked up at all.

It would be cool to know what exactly we are getting with each trade. The trades are too expensive to just have vague names like "Survivalist stuff" or "Advanced tools"

I looked at the files and it says 100 something units of liquor. That can't possible mean 100 something bourbons or colognes or perfumes that'd be asinine.

Doesnt seem to work. No trades are ever available. I have a perfume, cologne, and bourbon which satisfies the craft helper recipe but no option to craft anything...

Is there a way to disable certain types of items being up for trade? For example, I am doing a themed run with no ranged weapons on the map, mostly handmade clothes, etc so having ranged weapons and ammo & great condition "from before the zombies" clothing & stuff showing up as trade items wouldn't really fit in.

A cool effect for this would be if you could fade the screen to black for players near the locations that the traders are hiding to simulate time passing/ have them appear at certain times of day

@IceMaverick Craft helper sometimes shows bit wrong yeah, I usually just do stuff manually and use the helper to just find recipes.

Do the right-click options only show up if you have a valid set of trade goods for them? Crafting Helper seems to think I have 100 units of Cologne on me, but perhaps I actually don't because none of the traders I've found want to accept it.

@spoon I looked into the seeds thing as well now and you are right, It should be higher. Doing some farm testing right now to decide how much. I also changed the stuff you get from traders to be more random. Gonna update soon.

Edited my answer a little. I red you wrong about the freezing traders stuff. I guess... It can stay as it is... if someone puts a trader into a fridge its on them for not roleplaying :D OR... they can roleplay the trader stayed longer because you had electricity.

Havent checked mod files, and didnt test this out in game, but since your traders are food items, i think their 3 day stay might be prolonged in fridge/freezer. There is cantbefrozen = true thing you could use, but i think its only prevents getting benefits from freezer and not fridge.
Another way would be to use wet item instead of food item. It can change into different item when it fully dries (like bath towel works).

If someone focus on farming, they end up with extra seeds to the point, that they need to harvest some crops before seeds, or dedicate big containers for seeds. You also get pretty decent amount of seeds from foraging, I know that some crops can give 12 seeds if you find them while foraging.
I wanted to use currency which would make sense in apocalypse. Like ammo, cigarettes, seeds or canned food. Canned food is heavy, seeds are too easy to farm, ammo and cigs would be more useful than some items you could trade.
I went a bit different approach, players can summon traders every time they find a items belonging to factions (kinda like your trade credit), or you can keep keep those items. So people always get something from it. But if you put some thoughts into it and giving trade credit without the crade is a no - its valid decision.

@MrRAT Yeah i was looking for feedback like that. Its real hard to test the frequency you will find those traders - I'll try tuning that. That shotgun shell thing should be fixed now - it was some weird thing where the code multiplied it by 6. It should be 40 shells.

Not too sure about the seeds, you might find them at first but eventually you would have to give them out from your own farming stock? This mod goes to my gradual PZ overhaul collection that I am working on right now + I intended this mod for more hardcore survival experience where things are hard to come by.

About the street cred, I thought adding such an option but then I thought - you can't get cred for not having stuff... I'm still open to it though... hmmm.

Feel free to use everything in it how ever you want.

I tested your mod before first update. I like the mod, but I think that it needs some balancing.
I have foraging lvl 9. I forage for 2 days, and found 3 traders in first day, and 1 trader the second day. So on normal high foraging play i guess one could find trader every few days.
Some items for trading is very easy to get, like 50 seeds, or 4 butchered rabbits. Maybe it gives lesser rewards, but its easy to get, and seeds its easy to carry if you hope to find traders. And i got 240 shotgun shells for 50 seeds.
Its just my opinion, maybe it feels different with your settings.

Apart balancing, I suggest to add another trading option - to say that you dont want to trade at this moment. That would give that "street cred" item. Just need to make it obvious to players, that they are sending trader away. This would be useful for people who finds trader, but wont have what to trade in 3 days, or wont be able to come back. Some reward for finding rare trader.

Nice idea with traders being forageable items. Would you mind if I used that for my mod? I have unfinished similar mod, with ways to call traders on demand and and was trying to implement smart way for them to randomly spawn.
