My only real criticism beyond nitpicking the Astro Guy, would be the Liminal Pool space. The movement is somewhat awkward and the spawns are fine mostly but for some reason, it's hard to see where the zombies are exactly while they're spawning out since you can see the dust particles but not their bodies UNTIL they stand. The buildables are pretty fair. I wish there was an inventory space that showed you what items you had as sometimes I was afraid I already found a part that I was still looking for but had no way to check the progress.
I hope you have more maps like these as this was genuinely fun. And I eagerly await to see what else you have in store!
also it pack was in said room it would make a bit more sense and be more "dramatic"
When doing backrooms maps we need backrooms entities as the special enemies--have skinstealers, hounds, the line entitiy, deathmoths maybe. It would really complete the backrooms setting
Also i was playing with mods and it turns out most of the map plays great with the exo's wallrun and jump mechanics, maybe you could add it as an upgrade/easter egg without the need of external mods?
Great map, and great use of BO3's lighting and cubemaps system.
Thanks for sharing! theres a map called poolrooms and backrooms that are these dreamlike maps. love this theme :)

Skill issue.
Not unwarranted at all, as you said no map is for everyone - I do truly appreciate your honest feedback. I took risk and liberty in trying a "Lost in the Backrooms" sort of experience, and I have to be OK with the fact that it can be quite frustrating for many players out there.
Sometimes I find it challenging to find that fine line between creative and fun. I need to improve my senses on not mitigating fun above anything.
Thanks again for the constructive criticism and insight, especially for a novice like myself.
Forget about whatever grade I’d give it, I’d rather talk about the maps strengths and weaknesses (my bias of course, could be true could be false). Being an expansive puzzle for the player to figure out, thats a creative feat that deserves recognition - but at the same time, its weakness being the lack of clues to get a starting point on those puzzles - creating some frustration for players that could really miss out on all the work you’ve done elsewhere on this map. I guess I’d fit in that category, and I’d just like to express that as the reason my hastey (and quite unwarranted) original comment was made
Thanks for the honest feedback. Sounds like you only opened the Poolrooms area and sort of got stuck there, there is literally no other swimming in the rest of the 75% of the map.
I respect your work and opinion a lot, so I appreciate you taking the time to even give any feedback, but I'll be lying if I said 2/10 doesn't seem completely demoralizing for what I considered to be a lot of work.
In any case, hoping that one day you'll give it another try as perhaps a "puzzle" map more than anything else - since it has at least succeeded in confusing people.
Every map has their own kinks, some have easter eggs, some weapons, some are just meant to be a challenge. But I can't figure out this map. It has like a billion buildables, every single one you feel like you are missing just 1 piece from being able to build whatever it is.
I tried to figure out the EE with my buddy, or well the map? It feels you need to do the EE to play the map. But I called the phones, I pressed buttons, I couldn't figure out the cohesion between all of it.
There's probably a lot I didn't experience in this map due to what I said prior, but I gotta give this one a 2/10. I didn't enjoy it much
Each door should only let you knock once. If it let's you keep knocking on the same door, that one already "knocked back". Just make sure to knock on each individual door and it will unlock the blue door in the back hallway.
Good luck!
I am not aware of any current bugs related to or around the EE. I have a Bugs discussion thread, would you please let me know here or there exactly what bug(s) you are referring to? Tyvm
