I'm not sure how well I'll be able to maintain this mod in the future, given how turbulent life can be, so it may be better to use Ceramics Expanded instead of my mod.

@Vanguard it should be compatible with DF v5X, assuming Toady doesn't radically change the RAW format in some way.

Will this mod be updated for DF v50?

I've read that there's a presumed bug by which Elves don't disqualify Clay goods glazed with Ash Glaze, but have not tested it. I suppose one could try pairing this mod with the "Clay Anywhere" mod to simply have all Soils count as Fire Clay, and just make Stoneware instead?

Very nice, had porcelain in my latest fort and was disappointed by the limited options in the pottery. Just a quick thought, i think it would maybe be nicer for the goblets to be mugs instead? or maybe if possible both?

@Maligerent also if you want really *fancy* glaze, you can use tin ores (it has to be the raw ore, not bars of tin).

Very good! Can't believe that pottery cups just aren't in the main game. Would it be possible to do a ceramic bucket too?

@Maligerent, ash is used to glaze clay items (note that I'm pretty sure this makes them unfit to sell to elves, in case that's something you care about!).

Love this mod so far. Not too sure what counts as a glaze/how to make them, if they require certain minerals, etc.

Minor bug, earthenware flasks are able to hold fluid before being glazed. If we keep them the same as their pot variants, they shouldn't be able to.

Very nice! I had just been thinking about how limited pottery in vanilla was, and this gives it some more use that's sensible while also not going overboard and letting it do everything stone can do.
