Literaly the best mod in my opinion. Its so well made and adds so much to the realism. I also love the fact that you apply lubricant after repairs.

I can't seem to get the items to spawn. Set everything to abundant and both Stendo's and West Point PD spawned with a grand total of 2 solvent between the two of them and nothing else, no gunsmithing tools, firearm maintenance kit, no lubricant, nothing.

i recently used this on gun 93 test build and it seam that you cant repair the gun you can only clean it it doesn't show you the option to do so and after reassembly them again it seam that the part duplicate

this happened because 42 build uses UTF-8, and 41 build uses Windows 1251

@noir4 I keep getting told multiple things. Some say RU should be UTF-8 and others Windows-1251. The game's own RU translation files are in UTF-8, so I'd expect that to be the correct one...

Real life was busy in January and February, then I got drawn into Monster Hunter Wilds for a month.

I've updated the mod for B42 and will push the update on Tuesday.
Also both B41 and B42 now have an additional sandbox option to append "(UGR)" to the end of my context menu options in case you are using another mod that uses the same context menu option names.

A question, I like the way gunsmith mod make the repair, but it didn't have the option to cleaning (witch you mod didn't require skill) it's possible use both in parallel or it will generate errors?

This mod conflicts with the Workshop mod. The same lines are in the "Disassemble" context menu, and depending on the order of the mods, the function will work from one or another mod.

@Viva l'Anarchie Solvents should be ~2-2.5x more common than Lubricants when at the same rarity level. So 20 vs 2 would indeed be very bad luck.

Are cleaning solvents simply more common than lubricants? I'm currently 8 months in this save where I have found 20+ cleaning solvents and only 2 firearm lubricants despite having the rarity of the latter set to abaundant and the former stay default (normal).Really need to know if this is a glitch or just some extremely bad luck.

i have a question, why dont make harder to repair with scrap and if you have 2 disarmed weapons from the same model "tranfer parts" to get the weapon condition up, just a sugestion, good mod

This mod is great! Of course, the mod is conflicting with other mods that change the repairing of guns like Coavin's Firearm Repair. I was using Coavin's until i find this one. I liked the very detailed parts and the dissassembling and reassembling process, but Coavin's doesn't work with modded weapon, it need manual update from the developer to add new ones.

This one is a lot easier and a bit less immersive, but works on every modded weapons i've used so far. No more need to gather tons and tons of identical firearms for spare parts! Just one of each you like, a bunch of repairing kits and fluids, and you're ready for the apocalypse!

EDIT/ADD: Or alternatively would making weapon "Repair" max out at 5 be the answer?
You would then require cleaning solvents to fix the weapon above 5 to 20 (or whatever the max condition of the weapon is)

I'm running Vanilla FA Expansion B41.
While everything that I've tested so far works, it seems that the only things you need to repair any firearm is Gunsmithing Tools, Scrap Metal and 1/5 Firearm Lubricant.
I can repair a weapon all the way up to 100% using scrap metal and then use 1 unit of Firearm Lubricant to put the weapon back together. (This renders Cleaning guns using the maintenance kit and cleaning solvent redundant)

Is this intentional?
Would making the Gunsmithing Tools a drainable item prevent cheesing the repair process?

Is it possible to combine two dissembled parts for the same weapon? As if we're replacing broken parts or something along those lines

Yeah you created a good mod I enjoy how you can actually take the fire arm apart
which you actually have to do in real life in order to clean and replace or and repair anything that needs it.

Though I noticed also it only puts the firearm condition to 10.

some mods have their firearms a bit more higher than vanilla. (15 - 30)

I never had a game crash but I might just unsub and resub CJ's firearm mod and go into the mod folder and delete whatever leftover files are there and see if that works. Cause when I disable CJ's firearm mod and use gun runners it works fine no issues at all.

@Viper I see. Sorry. People often get confused on how to use this mod.

Then I'm just not sure what's going on. My mod doesn't care what type of gun you have, just that it has a type of 'Weapon' and a subcategory of 'Firearm'.

I can Disassemble one of his Beretta M9s when I checked things out yesterday so the only thing I can think of is that somehow the data for that specific copy of the gun got corrupted when your game crashed.
