@Thrice >.< It's more of a shimmering crystal effect, but the code lists it as 'clear'. Still, I encourage you to use your imagination.

Yeah, that's fair. I'm an old-time player, so a I didn't think a farming addition would need much explanation. But if you're just coming into the game, distinguishing between mod & vanilla may not be as obvious.

Cool mod and all, but the description here in the workshop could definitely be better. Just a quick list of, you know [New Mushroom] - [Use] - [How Processed] would be extraordinarily helpful.

@Seylerius, did you do it ? I just put the png in the graphic folder of the mod but i didn't have to replace anything aparently.

@Seylerius - the mod's graphics folder should have a file already named plant_momushrooms. It's been a while since I made the graphic, but I THINK you just need to replace the extant file with the new one.

Sorry about the very late reply, @Mous, but where do I put that file to add your graphics to the mod? Do I just drop it in the mod's graphics folder, or do I need to do something else special with it?

Oh man that is cool! I especially like the sparkly bits on the Shadowthorn ^.^ Although the vanilla graphics are a decent stand-in for now, obviously the goal is to have unique sprites eventually. I'm happy knowing that folks are enjoying this. Has anybody found the rare Cavern 3 mushroom?

They're just quick-and-lazy plump helmet edits because I mostly just wanted to be able to quickly distinguish the added mushrooms, but I made some graphics to use with this! Anyone who wants to use them is welcome to: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5u7djfzn0vh4ysd/plant_momushrooms.png

This is going off of memory, so take it with a grain of salt.

You need a couple of extra tags. Let's say you're editing plump helmets. You will need to first remove the vanilla plump helmets with:
[CUT_ORGANIC:HELMET_PLUMP]
Followed by your custom version of the plump helmet.

This pattern holds for most things, where you have to fully remove vanilla before editing.

The exception is [SELECT_ORGANIC:ETC] which will open the tags entry and add any tags you add, but still won't overwrite the existing tags.

That's a good idea, I found the problem immediately that I'm not the only one who can't edit base-game assets right now. It doesn't seem possible without overwriting the vanilla files.

@Mayonnaise - I like that. Could be high value and only found in Cavern 3 as a reward for exploring.
@RoyalFox - I couldn't say specifically. I suggest you either ask at the Workshop forum here, or post your raws at any of the modding sub-forums (discord, bay12).

Hey I've been trying to edit the base-game subterranean crops and don't know what I'm doing wrong. I was wondering if you had any insights on common mistakes.

(nice mod by the way I like the idea of turning portabella into whiskey)

a dwarven equivalent to the sun berry and liquid sunshine (best alcohol in vanilla DF) would be really cool!
