Will enemies spawned by this mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2621488886 drop the coordinates? I dont know if the coordinates can only be found on ships and stuff or if they can spawn just on basic enemies like from this mod.

i have found a datapad in an outpost on the moon with referneces to a limestone pyramid, but when i click the 'create gps marker' button nothing happens.

I have an issue, I saved the game with this mod and after loading it and pressing | opens up the G menu. Which is weird because I did not set up a alternative key combo for it. Also the questlog is empty even though I removed the HUD compass mod.

Dominik, it does work... I was having problems and then i discovered i had many many mods installed. Uninstall everything, keep them liked if you want to use them again and only install the mods required for the game

For anyone interested, this mod defeinitely still works! I've got a 110-mod collection that focuses around Ancient Astronauts and I know for a fact it works as intended if you set it up right! https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3138611210 . All of these mods are usable with AA with the right load order. If the mod doesn't initiate right, you have to make sure you completely restart the game before you start a new world with this mod or VSP will likely leak events from other mods. Its a buggy mess to setup but once it starts working it stays working as long as you never transfer saves or any of that nonsense

I believe this is sadly a dead mod. It looks like the authors have abandoned it and no longer offer support. It initially worked for me, but it didn't mark a temple I found green as it's supposed to after you find the package, and then all the other temples just disappeared from all the planets (including the one I already found). Anyone know of a more current version of this mod that someone else is maintaining? I love the idea of an endgame in SE.

Okay so I went back to the temple I already found and it's completely gone so I think something is wrong. Is it safe to uninstall and reinstall the mod? Will that potentially fix it, or should I do something else? Can I send you any logs to help debug?

How far out from the GPS marker could the temples spawn? I found the beta one on the Alien planet only a few meters under the marker, but I've been digging around looking for the gamma one for an hour now and still can't find it. I've gone down 40 meters and dug out a huge hole looking for it, but still haven't found it. Any help or tips would be appreciated!

Tip: You may need to dig around to find temples as they're not always visible from the surface.

Mission tracker don't show up. I have already found one artifact but the mission tracker never become avaliable.

The mod does not work at all, what should you do and where to look for temples if they are not at one of the addresses, not at all.

@space are you sure you're using the mod right, you add this to a custom survival, not any of Keen's story scenarios.

I cannot progress past the first "Prepare to leave the escape pod" objective. No matter what i do it doesnt change and i even tested on a world with no other mods and it was still not working.

@FlamingNinja you need to go into the AA script itself and ctrl-F "Blacklist" and it will take you to a line for blacklisted planets, that's where you would add Bylen.

@spillmypint it should be the backslash key next to Lshift.
also: this mod spawns stuff on Bylen (the gas giant). can't yet find a config or blacklist to add it.

i think it's my keyboard, the left shift isn't working. Will have to give the keyboard a good scrubbing. Cheers for getting back to me though. I started a new game of the Ares scenario

@spillmypint when you mention 'the slash key' have you tried the \ key next to LShift? (bottom left corner of keyboard) i use a QWERTY UK keyboard and found that toggles it.

I've tried that button to show the quest log (which hasn't shown up at all since starting the game). The one just below the ESC key on the left and it appears not to work. The picture of the vertical line is on the key, but with two others, ` and ¬ . The slash key on the left makes the good bot hint appear and go in the top right where i think im expecting the quest log to appear. Can anybody help?

I started on Pertam and was getting a base set up, building a platform, etc. I went down a mine a short distance away and when I came back I noticed a data pad randomly sitting on my platform. Sure enough it was the coords for Pertam Alpha Temple !

Can someone explain how in the hell that happened? Can these pads just spawn out of thin air, or did it drop from space? Very confused. Either way, I was hoping to work a bit harder for it.

*I'm running a handful of MES mods, AIEnabled, and few other minor things. Nothing that should cause loot to spawn from thin air.

Cant get the UI to advance past "Prepare to leave escape pod." I definitely think its just me, but ive restarted several times with varying levels of mods, it never changes.

What is actually conflicting with this and the sleep mod? I was using the Vanilla Extensions modpack which includes both the Hud Compass and the Sleep Mod. Like others I was able to get the quest log and play once but couldn't load the save game after. I've removed the Vanilla Extensions mod and I can load/unload now but I get the "Prepare to Leave the Rescue Pod" quest log that others get in reference to the Sleep Mod and looking at the entity list none of the alien installations are created.

In general I do tend to load quite a few different mods so something else could be causing the same issue perhaps because it does something in a similar way to sleep mod. Basically it looks like something is preventing this mod from triggering its creation cycle. The logs aren't that helpful in this issue. Whatever is happening doesn't seem to be raising a log entry.

Viper, no way that I know of. This is same questlog as in Keen scenarios. That's why more than 12 planets is not recommended. It still works, though, just not visible.

@Bačiulis: is there a way to scroll or interact with the quest log beyond "|" to bring it up or down? I ask because I apparently have too many planets in my system, and the list cuts off at the bottom and i haven't figured out a way to scroll or interact.

I really love this mod, but I highly recommend you update the description for the known issues section. As others have pointed out, there is a major incompatibility issue with this and the Sleep Mod where after creating the world and adding your mod, it's impossible to play in the world without it instantly crashing to desktop after loading in.

Once you find each artifact are they actually ticked off in the Quest Log (like a proper game)? Or do you just have to keep a mental note of what has and hasnt been found? Thanks.

For anybody that is having the "prepare to leave the escape pod" bug, it seems to be tied into the sleep mod. I removed the mod from my load order, and the bug disappeared.
