they sound like they spoke through gas masks and then were recorded with the worlds shittiest tape recorder and then were electronically processed and put through a sink garbage disposal

i tried playing half life 1 a few years ago but got slaughtered… sort of weird how thats the case when i beat doom eternal on the hardest difficulty with few deaths but it is what it is 😆
