Why is this obsolete? Is there a better way of hiding sparring announcements, without hiding all combat announcements?

Great mod! I'd love to see one that takes some of the other spam out, like death notifications for butchering animals.

works fine for me. you can try it yourself go to Dwarf Fortress\data\vanilla\vanilla_interface\graphics\images and then edit the announcements.png

This whole steam workshop system is very clunky and all. you have to make a new world everytime you want to activate a new mod. i think its better to just do it yourself :D
