Why did the dev think this was a good idea? Make a team of elite clowns suddenly appear in my sub 30 seconds into my 3rd mission and murder everyone. Literally nothing i can do to stop them, Bullets do hardly any damage even in the head, and once they are in melee range you can't shoot them at all. I hit one with 10+ bullets and he didn't flinch. 30 seconds isn't long enough to rewire all my doors to lock them in cargo or anything. I tried to survive it 5 times and couldn't even come close.

Have to uninstall mod and roll back a save...

Пираты это пиздец, прорезают стыковочный люк за секунду, имеют бесконечные патроны, так и лут с них полностью не собрать. Уменьши спавнрейт пожалуйста, они пиздец ебнутые.

@Loose - It's really not that bad. You just have to get through the first mission. The first trader you get to will be enough for you to create more than enough ammo and weapons.

I recommend using Enhanced Armaments so you can craft better weapons. The Renegade assault rifle is easy to make. You can get enough materials in the first map to make multiple weapons and ammo.

I'd also recommend starting on a ship that has a Constructor/Deconstructor.

@Allencovinton - It is doable even with the weakest submarine on the hardest settings. It just takes effort and some trial and error. Definitely hard, which I think is the intended purpose of this mod.

I start on the Knifetail-A, a very basic workshop ship. It's probably weaker than the Dugong but it's more practical and a bit faster.

I recommend using Enhanced armory with this mod. It won't help you much in the beginning, but it gets good when you can craft some better weapons.

dont really like this mod it has some cool monsters but i dont want to be starting a new campaign and have missles lock onto my sub and get raided by pirates if you play this you might aswell have a op sub with it or you wont be able to survive the pirates on every single mission

Honestly horrible. Ruined my Barotrauma experience by constantly teleporting nearly indestructible enemies into my sub on the first mission, not to mention how there is no way to avoid the drop pods.

The EWRush launch pods are perhaps one of the nastier aspects of this mod. There's not really much you can do to avoid them. If you try fleeing, the pods seem to get stuck hunting you and will pester you the entire mission (unable to actually land) - this is actually very annoying as you won't be able to hear anything and the pod target will buzz around your ship indefinitely.

Shooting incoming pods is quite useless as they can't really be destroyed, although they do take damage. Best you can do is get to the rooms quickly and attack them the moment they spawn.

Husk armors, they can be invincible when it water. They can withstand focus-fire from 3 coilguns with explosive ammo. A lot easier to kill in ship or simply ignore.

Destroyer robots, when ever you hear them, take AI crew off turrets, the moment you deal damage to them, they will be flagged hostile to your AI crew who will blow them up right next to the ship which is equivalent to a blown reactor or worse. Always kite and kill from a distance.

General disclaimer for new players:
This mod is balanced in such a way that it promotes usage of other mods to balance it out. Mods such as Enhanced Armaments go well with it.

Do not think you can ever go toe-to-toe with an Exo-pirate if they have a ranged weapon. They have very strong weapons that will stun-lock you if one bullet connects. If anything you want an RPG or Anti-material rifle or cheese with grenades.

Similarly be weary of caves, there are typically groups of pirate elites in them that will focus-fire you from off-screen- enough to stun-lock you through a Riot shield.

Clowns are very tanky but not to the point you can't take them with conventional weapons. Beyond the Aphotic plateau they will spawn in large groups which give them perk synergy, making them incredibly tanky. Always kite when you see large groups.

Straight dogshit, you have a "separatist terrorist" who teleports inside your sub and has an infinite ammo grenade launcher. I don't usually comment on mods, and I'm ashamed to have even installed this.

Я не понимаю чё люди так жалуются, охуенный модв вдвоем с тимейтом подлодку фулл чинили 3-4 раза (за 2 ходки..) но было весело (Особенно пирата пиздить мачете пока у него хп как у молотоглава)) )

Needs balancing for zone 1 and early game! you get boarded in zone one by pirates who slaughter the whole crew before you even have any weapons! seems like it does not take mission difficulty into account!

Please tell me what problem. i Download mod EuropaWar and mod real sonar, real sonar give more damage if you dont use eho armor, but enemy not give damage for sonar and for deep. For example Base humancloun in the deep not give damage, he just swimming. What problem?

На первый взгляд обычная миссия в кампании по первой же перевозки работников коалиции внезапно превращается в ебловорот, во время которого оперативная группа таск форс 228 в строе боевого крыла люфтваффе сепаратистов и клоунов в экзоскелетах отправляет перед собой дроны которые сперва глушат сонар а потом взрываются как ебатронный реактор нахуй и только потом когда вы пролетели 3 сотни метров на дно клоуны джаггернауты с ядерными, запрещенными нахуй жиежкайтотамблять конвенцией разьебут пердаки всех переживших ядерку позднякова

agreed, I have no idea how the dev playtested it and thought "yeah that's good, a regular human pirate takes 100+ hits to kill, very balanced and fun". Considering that they enter the sub all the time through the hatches and airlocks, it's fucking unplayable unless your sub is broken and doesn't let the human enemies enter the sub

Being real, these guys need a detection rework, wanting to use the Whisper but can't because even in stealth mode I get detected by the goofy aah pirateship drone from 70'ish meters away and they don't respond to chaff, flares, nor decoys and get to spend the entire mission trying to kite them into other creatures to get them off me.

How to fight off the kamikaze clowns that enter the sub straight through the walls? Is the only way to get rid of them is to get to the end of the level? Also, are they even supposed to spawn and attack if I have very high reputations among clowns?
